E Riverside location: Update
Best DQ in the area in terms of size and presentation of dipped cones. They actually dip the ice cream so that it doesn’t melt out and onto the cone before you can get there. The chocolate dip hardens as well.
The Blizzards are generous with add- ins!
Not sure what the DQ on Alpine does differently, but their cones were a disaster and their service wasn’t great. DQ Roscoe is pretty good and friendly!
Original: Cashier not friendly. Guy who called out the order and flipped the Blizzards upside down was too quiet. (A petty old woman- customer- is not the reason for the 2 star rating.) Blizzard quickly melted from counter to me. The frozen fruit made the Blizzard taste like ice.
I’m intrigued to try the rest of the menu, so we might come back. Not expecting much considering the service and food quality from today’s visit.

This is a super nice and super clean Dairy Queen! And it Seems like a very well maintained store.
I don’t think speed is the biggest thing at this place. I think providing good quality food is the biggest thing for them. If I was the owner of this DQ I would be very proud of this place.

Came in 1.5 hours before close with my mild-mannered friends, ordered, and all the workers looked like they wanted us dead. Idk why it’s a problem to come in late, but we walked in and they put up all the chairs and kept walking by us glaring. Don’t come here when they’re open or you’re causing a problem for every worker in the place.

I went to the wrong Dairy Queen in Rockford , I wanted to go to the one close to cherry valley mall , instead my gps took me to riverside dq . I got an Oreo blizzard and I regretted it. It was soft!!! Tasted like mc Donald’s $1 ice cream!!!! I wasted my $4.60 cause I’m not eating that, I literally took these pics right after the gal gave me the ice cream and she didn’t even flip it like they would, probably cause she knew it would fall out. I promise you Dairy Queen in cherry valley is way better than this one in the ghetto. Never going back

Dairy queen always hits the spot. This location delivers food cooked fresh and accurate. The staff isn’t bubbly and smiling all the time, but they are professional and efficient.

I gave this DQ their last chance, ( was there a year is so ago) the prices are outrageous for the quality of the food. The blizzard is just plain ice cream on the bottom half and those prices went up also. I used to go there a bit when I worked downthez road and it was always great, then I think they changed owners and it seemed to go downhill. All in all, I won’t be going back to that DQ.

Went in for ice cream after dinner. Place was empty inside, drive thru became busy after we ordered. Ordered 2 mini blizzards for WAY TOO MUCH! ($5 each!!). Sat down and the gal said ours were going to be a while cause drive thru got busy. Ok, I can accept that. 20 minutes later we had to demand refunds because we had to be home to get kids from babysitter! Very disappointing. Work on your service if you are going to charge $5 for a mini blizzard. Buying a half gal of ice cream at woodmans next time!

Drive through. Accent was difficult to understand. Ordered a milkshake that took a while but it was the best milkshake I’ve had in a long time. Had a DQ milkshake from Rock Falls that was melted and no whipped cream a week ago. Great Job here ! ! !

We just came through the local Dairy Queen around the area, and when we got to the window, the guy gave us a twist cone, instead of throwing it away and remaking the twist ice cream in the cup, he returned a twist cone shoved inside the cup, leaving the cone sticking out on top of it!
