The restaurant itself is a feast for the eyes. The layout is stunning, like stepping into an art museum. The design and decor are exceptional, and the lighting is perfect, creating a lively yet intimate atmosphere. We were encouraged to have fun while we dined. I believe there’s a live DJ on the weekends, and he played excellent upbeat music that wasn’t too loud at all!
The menu is thoughtfully curated and not overwhelming. We started with the Seared crab cake, chipotle mayonnaise, fresh herbal greens, and pesto sauce, and the Tempura pan-seared shrimp, garlic, fresh lemon, and sriracha mayo. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, and the flavors were spot on.
My wife enjoyed her red wine, while I tried a couple of signature cocktails from the menu, the New York Sour and the OAXACA Old Fashion. Both were excellent choices.
The next time we visit Santo Agave Park West, we will specifically request to be seated in Leslie’s section. She checked on us frequently to ensure our satisfaction, and one of the managers, Pedro, even visited our table a couple of times. Santo Agave is one of those places that you put on your list, but you can’t wait to go back. It’s a top-notch restaurant in the West Valley that I highly recommend. Five stars are not nearly enough to describe it!
My husband and I saw Santo agave preparing to open last week. We were so surprised and happy that they were open this week. We were able to get right in without a reservation. Appetizers we had spicy beef, empanadas, and crabcakes. Everything was made fresh and they were amazing. Our first drinks were the Oaxaca old-fashioned, and the Santo agave. Can’t go wrong with either. I have been had the ribeye tacos with bone marrow. A surprise but excellent choice. I had the Agua Chile ribeye, which gave hints of sushi but with beef. You have to try it.
Above all the service was excellent. Our waitress Alissa it was very kind and attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We can’t forget to mention the manager Frank, who checked in on us as well. We opted to have another drink instead of desert. My husband had a señorita. I had the black margarita. YOU MUST TRY THIS.
Did I forget to mention there was a live DJ.
Definitely a great place for a date night or to bring out a town guests. You will not be disappointed
The waitress, Leslie, was amazing. She was friendly and attentive. Her connections with the kids were very appreciated. She connected with each one and asked each what they wanted by their name.
Drinks were amazing. Eden and Beso de Frida were my favorite. Dinner was incredible. A few hiccups but my son loved the salmon and steak. I loved the tacos Gobernador, all cooked to perfection of desired temperatures. Hope to come back soon!!!
We arrived around 4:00 pm and ended up staying for almost three hours. From the moment you walk in, the service feels welcoming; the hostesses, the general manager, the managers, and the servers are attentive at all times, and even the head chef came to our table to ask how everything was going. You can truly tell it’s a very attentive team.
The menu is clear and well thought out, which allows you to choose calmly from appetizers to dessert without feeling overwhelmed. The cocktails are excellent and definitely not light on alcohol; we tried the Mexican Mule, the New York Sour, and of course the Santo Agave, all very well prepared.
For food, we ordered beef carpaccio, ribeye aguachile, grilled salmon, and grilled octopus (although I forgot to record that one). Everything had a gourmet style, with flavors perfectly balanced. Our afternoon server was Alejandro, whose service was excellent, and his teammates were just as attentive. We finished with a very creative and generously sized ice cream pie.
The ladies’ restroom was also impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, something that is always greatly appreciated as a woman.
The concept of the place is perfect for staying and talking for a long time, without loud music or overwhelming noise; the atmosphere feels fresh, harmonious, and very welcoming.
We were told that later in the evening there is a DJ, so it’s definitely a place to return to for a relaxed night out with good drinks.
