Wonderful flavor with tastes that pop, the food came to the table very quickly and the temperature was perfect. Served hot and the fish had a great crispness to the top but soft melt in your mouth fantastic. Linguine and clams very bountiful with clams!! Great perfectionism with the presentation.

The service was attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. Even though the food was good, we were surprised that the entrees did not include a pasta or vegetable.
For example, the veal parmigiana did not come with pasta and the pork chop had no potato or vegetables. The entrees were priced above average, so the least expensive components should have been included and not treated as a side for an extra charge.
For this reason, we will not be returning.

Overpriced and Disappointing
The staff was nice, but we ordered a pasta that wasn’t on the menu and didn’t ask the price — our mistake.

When the bill came, it was $65 + tax for a simple Alfredo pasta with a bit of truffle. Way overpriced.

When we asked why, they just said “truffles are expensive.” Funny enough, we had the exact same dish the day before at another Italian restaurant for half the price.

Felt like a rip-off. Won’t be back.

What an incredible experience last night at this amazing new restaurant in point Pleasant, let’s start with ambience as soon as you walk in the places, immaculate, the music was spectacular It had a really amazing feeling when you walked in. next the service the best service l’ve had in a long time I’m. The staff was so attentive and so accommodating the young server Michael walked up to our table told us we had to have the rice balls l’ve been in Restaurant Business for a long time it was nice to see someone so enthusiastic about a special l had to have them and I don’t even like rice balls. He was so passionate about selling them, and they were humongous and delicious!!
Now the food best stuffed mushrooms l ever had, we shared a pasta course. I felt like I was at my dinner table at home growing up in the Bronx. It was so delicious, for dinner my wife and I both had specials. My wife had the fish I had stuffed pork chops. Everything was really good. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy the regular menu. This place is going to be a tough ticket to get into very soon!!!

Antipasti and fried zucchini were great! I ordered the chicken parmigiana. It was delicious. Limoncello cake for dessert was just the right amount of sweet flavor to finish a great visit.

Before I even begin, remember, this is Point Pleasant. As the good weather comes, so do the people. And in any weather, weekends are prime time. My wife and I don’t live far, and we tend to avoid the summer insanity. If you want to come to this place and hang out, do it during the week. It’s just the nature of the area.
Ok….so, we come to Point Pleasant often, and I can write a book about what a nice place it is. So, come, eat, get out and take a nice walk along Arnold Ave. After eating here, you’ll need to walk it off….nice portions.
We found this place simply by walking past it a week ago. It looked inviting so we gave it a try.
You need reservations. It opens at 5 and it’s packed at 5. BYOB…I love that.
It’s a quaint place but not uncomfortably tight. The people there are wonderful and the customers are nice too which creates a great vibe.
We passed on an appetizer simply because we didn’t want to overeat, though it all sounded great. Our dinners came with salad, bread and a very yummy dipping oil. They use a house salad dressing which was perfect, nice and light.
My wife ordered the chicken parmesan. I had the Chicken Di Casa, which was grilled chicken topped with peppers and mozzarella and a copious amount of a balsamic sauce. Both dishes (yeah, we sampled each) were absolutely delicious. In fact, after one bite, I looked at my wife and said how amazing it was.
I’m kind of glad we didn’t get an appetizer because I would never have finished the meal, and my wife ended up boxing half if hers anyway. I think next time, I’ll try an appetizer. The portions were big and so what? You’ll have food for the next day.
Our waiter, Mark, was very super nice and helpful. In fact all the help there were friendly and professional.
I literally was shaking hands with them as we left.
The prices for this caliber of dining is not bad at all. And again, there is no skimping on portions.
I highly recommend….just remember that any restaurant on Arnold Ave is gonna be in demand on the weekend. But it’s just really good. Worth the trip.

We had a delightful evening at Casa d’Angelo, a lovely and cozy BYOB restaurant.

To start, we shared the Burrata special, which was generously portioned and absolutely delicious. For our main courses, I enjoyed the Filet Of Sole Marechiara, and my dining companion, had the cod special in Francaise sauce. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We sopped up every bit of sauce with our bread !

Our waiter, Mike, was professional and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Sal, the bus boy, was equally impressive, always on top of things. They both added to the pleasant atmosphere with their friendly demeanor.

Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. We can’t wait to return and will definitely be recommending Casa d’Angelo to our friends!

Casa D’Angelo did not disappoint! If you are looking for traditional Italian this is exactly what momma’s house was like. Our first time and def not last. Seafood Salad was outstanding and fresh. Penne Bolenese is not to be missed as well as the Veal Francese and Mussels Marinara!!! Call for Reservations as it is cozy atmosphere.

Wanted to love it , but maybe bad timing power was temporarily out in town unbeknownst to us until we walked in . Husband ordered veal France’ as an entree, looked amazing however I thought it had a very sour flavor, husband was hungry so he ate it all, was surprised not al la Carte , but came with nothing not even greens for garnish,, nothing offered as even a side ??? I ordered the special encrusted crab topping on haddock, there was nothing encrusted was extremely mushy served over escarole and white beans which was flavorful, our appetizers were a letdown as well, I ordered fried calamari, very dry very overdone, the house salads were good as the dressing was great – over all big letdown – prob would not return,
