Accommodating, easy service, and great price for the whole family! We came here with a large group without a reservation for lunch on a Monday. We waited a little to get seated but the food came out fairly quickly. You order via QR code, so it might be hard for people that aren’t tech savvy. The food comes out on bullet trains, I think pre pandemic you could just grab whatever is there. This is a chain that they have all over different countries. I got my parents miso and tempura soup, I got chicken wings, tempura, shrimp tempura, edamame, their stuffed mushrooms are really good too. California rolls, and plenty of options if you don’t eat raw fish. Service was great and they even have dessert! Lots of nigiri’s and rolls to choose from. Located in a shopping plaza, there is plenty of parking but it can get busy.

Although the restaurant could use a bit for decor, the food and service were outstanding. Elijah was a a great server, full of personality! Fish were fresh and generously cut. Aside from the sushi, the ramen and sukiyaki were delicious. We were disappointed that we were given a seasonal menu that was “expired” so we couldn’t order from it. I’ve always been hesitant on eating here because it was a franchise. I thought that being a “sushi” franchise the fish quality would suffer, but I’m definitely wrong.

Nice spot. Good service. The restaurant is almost self serve, which you ordering on your phone and the food rolls out from the kitchen straight to your table. Conveniently the app can be used by multiple phones all the the same people.

If you are used to automated self service, this is your place. The food was all good. Service is decent as long as you hit the call button.
Everything I ordered was delicious.

Got there at 8:27pm. They said they wasn’t seating anymore people. No one was eating in the restaurant so I’m not sure how early they stopped seating people although they close at 9pm. Guess all the employees wanted to be home by 9pm ^_~

Very unique, modern with quick service. You can even control how long you want to eat 30 minutes or 3 hours 🙂
The menu is thru QR code and you order when you want and you get you check when you are ready. Interesting experience. Clean.
Fresh and tasty sushi and it was inexpensive.
It was my first experience with this kind of service.

First time visiting Kona Hi. We came across this place after we landed. It was about 7-8 min from the airport. The food was ok, the California and spicy tuna roll were good. The wagyu beef roll and uni roll were disappointing for the price. The wagyu beef was definitely not wagyu quality and the uni was not that fresh. My sister’s beef bowl was not that great, the beef was chewy. Same with my beef and teriyaki chicken bowl, and the chicken was salty. The fried octopus and garlic chickens were good though. Overall, our experience was ok. The price was very fair.

This place gets 3 stars primarily for the novelty of the conveyor belt. Some of the items are good (dynamite spicy tuna, dragon roll), but most of the other rolls are almost all rice with very little of anything else inside. The ordering process is a little “clunky”, but it works. It might be better to have a small kiosk at each table rather than requiring the use of a phone. Our food all came to our table in a reasonable amount of time though.
If they improve the quality of the food, it could be a fun place to enjoy some sushi.
