Be prepared to wait. They custom cook your order so it takes time. Good presentation. Gracious host. Food tastes are tailored to locals not truly Indian spice levels or tastes. Waiter needs to be more hygienic.. left her finger prints all over our plates. Punjabi cholesterol was a let down for us.

Excellent biryani made traditional style with your dish baked within a Nan like sealing. The food is cooked to order, not just doled out of a mass produced giant pot. The owners have studied at the top culinary schools in India and have ran restaurants in 5 star hotels in India. The food is not cheap. But you get what you pay for. It is not quantity you get for the price you pay but quality. Didn’t like the bill, but did like the food.

Amazing. I have eaten here a bunch of times and usually share a rice biryani with my spouse and maybe an appetizer. They give lots of food and it all is really amazing. The ambiance is nice and staff and owners are great people as well. The best Indian food I have had east of Hawaii. 🙂

Wow is this place ever good! I wasn’t sure what to expect considering the location, but Sunil and his staff make some of the best Indian food in the city…if not THE BEST. Every dish was spiced right, served fantastically and had reasonably large portions. This isn’t a cheap Indian buffet, nor is it an expensive buffet. It’s seriously good food in a place you’d never expect!

Amazing. They cook everything to order like at any nice restaurant so a wait is normal. Try their awesome drinks or appetizers.
We have been going here almost twice a month for a couple of years.
They are moving up to a location in Eldridge and briar which is father away unfortunately but we will still visit. It seems like the owner of the current plaza is kicking out everyone.

Avoid this place if you can, its just a rip off. I love Indian food and I am always exploring different Indian restaurants so one day I decided to try this during lunch. The waitress I think is also part owner was very pushy wanted us to decide fast what we wanted to eat. I mean this is when they had only 2 other people sitting there besides us. Okay I neglected it and we ordered lunch. The size of chicken tikka and other gravy item was a joke. It came with Rice, Dal and salad. The chicken dish was really tiny and couldn’t believe we paid almost 11$ for each dish. The owners should know that in most Indian restaurants rice is complimentary but here its included with dal which people like me don’t care for. When I order chicken tikka for example with nan just give me that, don’t charge us for the whole dish and give us fillers like salad, rice and dal. I don’t go to Indian restaurants to eat dal and salad. Besides this the food was okay and I would definately ask the owner to fix their waitress or part owners attitude. I would never go back here, felt cheated and walked out empty stomach. Its SAD.

Service was friendly and the food was fantastic. I went with a group, and we split the samosas, the chicken tikka, some lotus dumpling dish, and the goat and green bell pepper dish with saffron rice, raita, and nan on the side. Everything was great. It was all perfectly seasoned. I tend to judge Indian food restaurants on their chicken tikka, and this one’s was spot on: spicy, smokey, and succulent. Also, I have a food allergy (soy) and they were very accomodating. I will deffinitely be returning.

Probably some of the best Indian I’ve had in a long time. Wife and I followed the suggestions of other reviewers and got the garlic naan. Yuma-dum-dum. Butter chicken and Lamb vindaloo were outstanding and portions were large enough that we had left-overs for the next evening. Samosas were delicious as well, served with a tamarind sauce.

Atmosphere was good, and the place was clean. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic nan. It was terrible. The garlic nan was mostly flavorless. The butter chicken was the awful part. It was very, very, sweet. I dipped some nan in it for my first bite and thought the nan was candied. But it was the sause. Sickening. It also had bones in it, one of which got stuck in the bottom of my mouth. I was not a fan, and I will not be back. Too many good Indian places in houston to go to bad ones. And it was VERY expensive for the amount of food. That dropped it a star by itself.

Great food! My wife and I had the chicken tikka masala and palak paper with naan. Both dishes were fresh and delicious with lots of flavor. The naan was soft and crispy which just topped off the meal into a 5 star for us.
