Would not return. The gnocchi was good but that was the only pro. The cocktails are extremely overpriced at $16 to $18 for very basic drinks. My main disappointment was the service. When I asked the server for a winr list at what is labled as a wine bar. He was dismissive and just said “no” and promptly walked away. According to the menu your options are just “red, white, rose or bubbly”. I not going to pay $12 for a mystery glass of wine, especially with that attitude. The meat plate was also a let down 6 small pieces of charcuterie, some olives and bread stick crackers. Not worth the price. Finally there was limited seating but with how expensive this place is and the poor service I doubt this will be a problem for them.

I am always so excited to find a tucked-away hidden gem while I’m out on the road, and Jones & Co is one of those places. I went in on a Tuesday night and was immediately struck by the charm and welcoming vibe. There were a few people sitting at tables, but the bar seats were all filled by people who were clearly having a great time. I started with a perfect classic Negroni and a serving of olives for just $4! For dinner I had the arrabiata gnocchi, which was just the right amount of spicy, and I finished with a VERY generous pour of wine, recommended by the bartender (and I think, owner?). I will definitely be back if I find myself in Appleton again. Highly recommend.

We had a decent experience at this place. The bartender/owner made an excellent cocktail. He had all the ingredients for making one of my favorite drinks where other places do not. The atmosphere was really cool and unique. In my opinion, I think to create a more welcoming atmosphere and lively environment maybe have the music turn up slightly. Felt hollow or something missing sitting at the bar. We felt like we had to whisper. My next opinion is the bartender/owner seemed standoff-ish. We asked a few questions about the establishment and drinks and were given combative or closed ended responses. We visit a lot of places and are loyal customers. We share good and honest experiences to all our friends and family. We also live in the Milwaukee area and are used to great drinks, good service and great atmospheres. I would have loved to stay and had a Negroni because I feel like it would have been amazing unfortunately we didn’t feel welcome or comfortable at this place. It could have been a one off visit but we did not get a great 1st impression.

Kyle provides a unique atmosphere filled with great conversation and knowledge about different spirits, wine, and beer. The food was beyond delicious with a sophisticated taste to it. Highly recommend and will 10/10 be back.

Great atmosphere! Drinks were on point! Clientele was cool! I didn’t even mind getting charged for the stimulating conversation or dry cleaning tips!

If you want a loud bar or the same Miller lite you always get, this business will be a disappointment. BUT. If you’re someone who is open to trying new things, having someone make you a cocktail crafted for your taste preferences, cozy vibes, good conversation, and pasta/food, come here! Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed. Bartender is very kind. Even if you come solo, you’re likely to make a friend at the bar and have fun conversations. We are lucky to have a place like this in the Valley, and I hope they’re around for a long time!

They have an incredible wine selection (other drinks too) with a great knowledge base to help you narrow down the best choice for you. Great atmosphere and always end up leaving with new friends and a smile on your face. Plenty of different types of seating depending on party size. 10/10 recommend coming and trying it out!

An absolute gem. We stopped in just for a drink after spotting it while walking from another spot, and I’m so glad we did. The decor mixed with the patient, quaint vibe instantly puts you at ease. The food is made completely from scratch and freshly prepared on-site. We had the butter sage gnocchi with Italian sausage, and my mouth literally dropped from how good it was—perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The owners are engaging and keep great conversation going. Whether you’re looking for a cozy date night or just a glass of wine and good company, this is a place you’ll want to come back to regularly.

A very unique downtown club with classy drinks and a quiet environment. It really allows you to sit and enjoy drinks and each other’s company, something that does not usually happen downtown. Drinks were very good and food was also done well.

My friend and I stopped into Jone’s & Co during our annual holiday night out. The space itself is very cool and atmospheric. My friend described it as Edgar Allan Poe-esque, which felt spot on.
Unfortunately, our experience was soured by an extremely aloof bartender who came across as dismissive and annoyed that we had stopped in. The bar was essentially empty aside from one small group, so it was not a matter of being busy. We were polite, knew what we wanted, and as educated drinkers, should have been the ideal demographic.
We each had two drinks. They were fine, but nothing memorable or exciting enough to offset the lack of hospitality. We left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. We will not be returning and would not recommend this spot to friends. For a far more pleasant craft cocktail experience, I would recommend Commodore a couple blocks down.
