I visited Chef Bobby D’s in Towson, MD and had a great experience. The establishment was clean, welcoming, and had a really good vibe. The food came out super hot and fresh, with large portions at a very reasonable price. I got the Oxtail Rasta Pasta and I have no complaints.
What really stood out was the customer service — truly 11/10. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
I would definitely recommend this spot and will absolutely be back soon.

What can I say about this place? I absolutely love it! Everything about this place is top tier in my opinion, from the food, to the restaurant decor and the customer service I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for years on grubhub and doordash I don’t have any pictures because the food is so good I never remember to until it’s gone. I recently went inside of this restaurant to order in person for the first time over Christmas break and even the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting also its decorated very nicely, and customer service is great! They were so fast, the lady said 50 minutes but the food was ready in 25. I love it here.

So I had been here a while ago when they first opened and was underwhelmed – but I’m so glad I went back and gave them another chance because this place is fantastic! Every dish my party ordered was well priced and busting with flavor. I got to try most things since we all share. I have to say that the Jamaican jerk wings and the entrees were the stand out stars. The salads and sandwiches are good but if you’re coming to an island fusion place get the island flavored dishes because they spice them right. I’ll be getting a lot of take out from here in the future.

Food: I got the Jerk Chicken with the plantains and rice and pea. The food was fantastic! The chicken wasnt dry or too spicy and the flavor of the sauce was amazing. Be careful because there are some small bones in the chicken that you may bite down on. The plantains were sweet and melted in your mouth and the rice and pea had a rich flavor that complemented the rest of the dish. Reheating the food didnt dry it out and the sauce was even more rich the next day.
Service: The cashier was very nice but it did take a little bit for the food to come out. It was worth the wait because it wae piping hot! The prices were also great for the amount of food you got.
Atmosphere: The resturant had a cozy vibe and the dining area, counters, and bathroom were clean. It was a bit difficult to find napkins and it was pretty toasty inside the resturant. Everyone who entered was very nice and tons of doordash orders were being picked up. They had reserved parking in the back for customers so you dont have to park on the street.
It was my first time going and I cant wait to try out the Towson location!

Recently ordered from Chef Bobby D and glad we did! Online ordering was very easy, once ready, I rec’d a text message to pick up. All very easy.
We ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta which was fantastic, creamy and a little bit of heat. Generous amounts of chicken on a bed of pasta that was huge! Totally unexpected portion size, and I ate it all… I couldnt help myself. Also the Grilled Chicken Panini with plantains. Again, delicious. The plantains were cooked to perfection and so sweet and tasty. The sandwich was delicious and generously portioned. We ordered an appetizer of Sweet Chili Chicken Tenders, the sauce was really tasty, more on the sweet side. There were plenty of pieces of chicken included. Lastly, the kids meal, tenders and fries(not pictured). Very good for a basic kids menu item.
We will be back for more!

The food was sooooooooo good. I ordered a rib and wing combo. 1/4 rack with 4 ribs. The wings are the best grilled wings I ever had. I ordered sweet chili, but it tasted like BBQ. I don’t mind because the BBQ sauce was really good. You can tell it was homemade. The Mac n cheese and fries were also delicious. Cant wait to go back. My only complaint is the wait time. Definitely beneficial to order ahead and give yourself 35-40min.
Editing review. So I went back because the food was so great. Giving 4 instead of 5. Would’ve given 3 if it wasn’t so great the 1st time. Ribs were hard. Could barely chew it. They barely had sauce on them. Wings with Hawaiian glaze were good, but needed more glaze. Mac n cheese was watery. Mashed potatoes were extremely salty.

We ordered carry out and it was phenomenal! Highly recommend the jerk chicken and coconut rice!! My bf got the ribs with Mac n cheese and it was just as delish!

Almost everything is delicious. Every time I get the plantain’s they are burnt but still edible. Enjoy that they have kid options. Don’t enjoy that patty’s are not available. Overall 9/10 every time.
