The food here is actually pretty good — I really like their empanadas and that’s why I keep coming back. However, the service I experienced today was very unpleasant.

I had placed and fully paid for my order ahead of time, so I walked in just to pick it up. There was only one family in front of me, and I waited behind them in line. When another staff member asked, ‘Who’s next?,’ I thought it was my turn to step up, but apparently the family was still deciding their order.

The staff member who addressed me was extremely rude about it. Instead of simply clarifying, she spoke to me in a very unnecessary tone, saying that it ‘doesn’t matter if you’re ordering or picking up’ and that I needed to ‘follow the rules.’ I wasn’t trying to skip anyone — I was just responding because someone had asked who was next.

When I asked for my pickup order, her attitude continued. She handed me my food in a very dismissive way, and overall the interaction felt hostile for no reason.

It’s disappointing because the food is genuinely good, but experiences like this really take away from it. Friendlier, clearer communication from the staff would make a big difference.

Food here is great. Service is okay. I have been a customer for over a decade and love this spot however they keep increasing their prices ridiculously. I understand 25 cent, 50 cent pushing but a whole dollar is abusive. They did it before not that long ago and on top of that cups are smaller and so are the empanadas or other items. Don’t abuse your loyal customers. Be nice.

This place is an institution in Passaic! Always busy with lots of people! Great affordable food. Not much space inside, best to take out. Otherwise, super sweet staff works there. A classic place. 🙂

Came here twice and both times my coffee and hot chocolate was good. The pan de bono, arepa de choclo and empanadas were not good. Arepa was served cold and the others were not good recipes. Always busy but not worth it.

I love this Colombian bakery! The food is amazing and the service is lovely. Small and packed but there’s so much variety. Not ideal for sitting down and eating but ideal if you need something on the go.

It’s small and packed in the morning, but you can’t go wrong with a drink and a sweet delight.
The ladies work quickly. Come with a few extra minutes and you won’t be disappointed.

Nice little spot to get breakfast and a quick bite to eat. The lady’s behind the counter are very nice. The arepas de chocolo (sweet corn) are great and the empenadas are tasty.
