Ive been to many many, many, breakfast restaurants but NONE has made me feel as welcome nor has it made my taste buds feel as AMAZING ( Poblano omelette) as this GREAT place. Service was absolutely friendly and quick, food had GREAT FLAVOR and the place made you feel local warmth of the people. THANK YOU!!

Good old fashioned diner in downtown Hempstead. These types of places are the best for breakfast. I got the T-bone steak and eggs. Flavor was right on the money. Will definitely come back when I am in town again.

Good food, good service, excellent price. We took a motorcycle trip to eat breakfast here after reading the yelp reviews. My husband ordered the Migas, they were scrambled egg, bacon and home fries with a tortilla. He had to assemble them. He enjoyed them, but they were not Migas. I ordered grits and toast, very good! 5 stars on the grits! We did experience a #payitforward moment. We look forward to returning to breakfast paradise soon.

Every time I go for pickup it’s a different price. When I first started going earlier this year it was $22 for 2 breakfast plates and now it’s $27. Almost $30 and my bread hard and adding cheese on eggs is apparently $1.50. It is not worth the $30.

We have lived in Waller for almost ten years, and this was our first time eating here. It was delicious! We got the Paradise Platter and the Mexican Plate, and both came with a lot of food for a very reasonable price. As a pancake connoisseur, I would give theirs high marks! They were light and fluffy with the perfect amount of butter. Also, they leave the syrup on the table, so you don’t have to ask for more. We dined in at 9am on a Saturday morning, and there was a constant flow of people coming in. The dining room has several booths that line the walls and one long communal table and a round table in the center. Service was attentive and the food was brought out promptly. We highly recommend this place and will most certainly be back!

Wow… Me and my parents went for the first time today. The food was great and waitress was absolutely wonderful to us. It’s not a fancy place but the most important thing is that it is welcoming comfy and comfortable. Reminds me of Grandmas kitchen. can dress really relaxed . We found a new place.

The food is great!! We ate here three times this weekend and it didnt disappoint. Well…on the last day I ordered a Veggie Omelet only to find that it was changed full of chicken!
Nevertheless, great food! Fish Tacos were amazing!

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. A “Please seat yourself” sign at the entrance might be helpful for first-timers.

The food was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. Our waiter never introduced herself—she just asked what we wanted, walked away, dropped off the food, and never came back to check on us. We had no refills, no check-ins, and no chance to ask for anything. When someone finally did come to our table, it was a completely different waiter. I felt ignored the entire time, which really ruined the experience. Good food isn’t enough when the service is this bad.

Delicious home-cooked meal. Exactly the breakfast we were hoping for. Well worth the time to scoot over from 290. Headed home to Austin after a weekend in Galveston and this was just st right for a good breakfast. Generous portions and wonderful service. Small Town comfort food. The chorizo potatoes made my morning and everything was delicious.
