Stopped for a couple of lobster rolls while passing by. So glad we did. Fast and friendly service, very fair prices, no waiting, and perfect lobster. We’ll be back!!

The prices can’t be beat. Just phenomenal. The food however is pretty average – if you’ve ever had any hot dog before, expect pretty much the same here. The wait was very long – certainly longer than I’d expect when most of the items being ordered are hot dog based – I’d imagine you could throw a dozen dogs on the grill the second you see a group walk up and not have to worry much about wasting them. I ordered four hot dogs and only received three – I didn’t get a receipt so I don’t know if I was charged for a fourth but I didn’t say anything just because I had already waited in line so long. All that being said, it still gets a 4 star rating for the prices

Food was wonderful and priced nice. The hotdog we got was delicious, he has multiple choices of dogs, and the haddock basket I got was a big chunk, not little pieces, very good. Also has other baskets, seafood, poppers, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and ice cream, among other items. Great outdoor spot, tables in the shade, nice landscaping. Pleasant experience all around.

Hands down the best lobster roll I’ve ever had, and it only cost $12!
The owner was very friendly and they have a great selection of other food, including great fresh seafood. Perfect for a quick bite.

Top Dog is unquestionably the best place to eat in Maine. Maybe beyond Maine. An $8 crabmeat roll (keep in mind that seafood prices can fluctuate!) as fresh as any could be, with lots of claw meat, is a treat to eat. Fried options are unequalled anywhere, both in quality of product, quality of cooking, and quantity.
