Always did like the food from here but I went to pick up my order and the lady at the counter was coughing all over the takeout food while taking an order. Me and the guy waiting stepped back cause she was not covering her mouth at all. And when I got to the counter I asked if she can cover her mouth around the food and she coughed right in my face then turned around and coughed right into the food in the kitchen. Won’t be going back there unfortunately

I keep trying this place, giving multiple chances to improve but unfortunately everything was wrong. The deliver person was the only ok. I was wrong for giving them another chance. The food was just ok, the customer service was mediocre. THEY NEED A CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM TO TRAIN THEM!! I WILL NOT BE BACK!! THIS TIME I MEAN IT!!!

I ordered on Uber eats and the driver canceled twice. I canceled the food and Uber charged me for the food. I called the restaurant immediately to pick up the food I was charged for and they threw my food away. I was charged $15 and left without any food. Horrible service. Don’t ever order from this place.

Fairly decent food on a consistent basis. There prices are reasonable, and the service is always friendly. The only negative in ordering from Mayflower is the wait time.. Call in the order, they give me a time for pickup. Usually 15 to 25 minutes, but when you get there they never have the order ready… last time I was told 15 minutes and I waited an additional 10 for my order… other than that, No Worries. And Bob’s your Uncle!

I saw the reviews and they were good, so I tried it again. But I was very disappointed with their food.
I ordered dumplings, they were terrible, soggy and I couldn’t even chew them. The spare ribs were cold and hard, everything was soggy from the oil it was cooked in. I will never order from them again. Her excuse was they are hot when we put them in the car but he had a lot of deliveries so that’s why. Sorry no excuses.

Amazing food! Tiny little “hole in the wall” place, but awesome food! Visit them, order anything you like, watch them make it in front of you, and eat it while it’s hot! There may be a hundred like it in NYC, but if you are in Baldwin, go to Mayflower, you won’t be disappointed!

During this pandemic I was excited to find an open chinese restaurant. So I placed my order and went to pick up my food. I was glad to see the shields up to place orders and pay. However I was disappointed because there was one person taking the orders cooking the food ect. What was really disturbing is the worker had no maks on and she was handling the food with no gloves. There was another customer and we both mentioned to the worker to put on a mask and gloves. She didn’t not sure I feel comfortable in ordering from there again
