Upper West Side mainstay, serving the best margaritas and unique Southwestern fare. Indulge in the classics like Chipotle Chicken and Sizzling Skillet Fajitas, or try one of our more seasonal dishes, like SW Caesar-style Brussels Sprouts or Crab Esquites Puff Pastry. We serve specials on the weekends, and host a weekly Taco Tuesday special.
Cozy neighborhood standby where Southwestern cuisine is accompanied by potent margaritas.

We ended up at Santa Fe for an unplanned anniversary dinner, and it turned into the loveliest surprise. It was also our first time dining there, despite living in the neighborhood for years. It was a weekday evening, moderately busy but with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
The food was delicious across the board. We did a selection of tacos with a couple of sides (the Esquites was especially delicious).
What really stood out was the service. A special shoutout to our server on Wednesday night, who was handling multiple tables with ease and remained attentive, calm, and thoughtful throughout. Their suggestions were spot-on, helpful without ever being pushy, and we never felt rushed.
An unexpectedly memorable dining experience and a perfect way to celebrate. Santa Fe is now firmly on our list of go-to neighbourhood favourites.

I went to Santa Fe for brunch with friends and had such a great time! I tried their special tacos (I think they were called Gaucho Tacos) and honestly, they were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. For something sweet, I ordered the French toast and it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything was delicious and the service was really nice. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Went here for lunch with a friend. Had a great time. There are 3 places to eat: outside, indoors, and the back room which has stunning natural light from the skylight. We sat in the back and had some amazing foods. The burger and fries were great. The French toast was really sweet and the tacos were good! Also tried the mimosa and white sangria and they were good too! Would recommend and would go again. Service was friendly and fast.

This is such a cozy and cute restaurant on the Upper West Side. I came here with my friends and we all absolutely loved it. The staff were super sweet. We had nice seats outside and were seated right away. I had the crispy shrimp tacos which were 10/10. My friend had the birria ones which I tried as well and those were absolutely incredible. I also really recommend the black bean dip to start, we all licked the plate clean. Overall great experience will be back!!

Went out for dinner with friends and had a fantastic time! The atmosphere was warm and stylish, loved the decor. Big thanks to Chef Liz (who also happens to be a friend of a friend) for making the night extra special. From the mango frozen margaritas to the dulce de leche cake, every dish was absolutely delicious!!

We ordered the chicken quesadillas and fish tacos—both were delicious. The house margarita was tasty too. That said, the portions were pretty small for the price, and the service left a lot to be desired. There are plenty of seating options, though, which was a plus.

9/14/24 back for dinner. We sat outside, it was nice. Good service. I liked my chicken fajitas. My margarita was good.
The GF’s Margarita was a fancy one and very small, she was disappointed by that.
I would be too. Brussels sprouts were good.
9/2016 first time here- drinks at the bar.

Okay, wow!! We came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with every single dish, each was more delicious than the one before. The birria tacos were the best I’ve ever had, they were covered with melted cheese all over the tortilla and delicious shredded beef on top. The esquites (with crab meat addition) was an explosion of flavors, really very unique, a must try. We also tried the carne asada which was cooked to perfection and just so flavorful Every single dish from the margs to the desserts was amazing, the service was great, and the place is beautifully decorated with Mexican art and warm colors. We will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu

The guacamole was good. ($15 for a small dish of it.) The water was cold. The table was available immediately, compared to a 30 minute wait where we tried to go first. The food truly was not very good. We ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was so gross and chewy I had to spit it out in my napkin. The tortillas were obviously from a plastic package and smelled and tasted as such. The chips tasted like they came from a cheap grocery store bag. We didn’t care for the salsa. Overall, we would Definitely not return. We were tired and just wanted to leave without a fuss but our food was pretty gross,in particular the chicken fajitas. We are used to fresh salsas, chips and tortillas so it was a real disappointment. The atmosphere outside was nice on a pleasant fall evening and the staff was polite.
