Love their chips and salsa and bean dip. Not many restaurants provide both and it is good! The husband loves their Chili Colorado burrito and I stick with the shredded beef tacos. Mango Margaritas are great and kids love their Shirley Temples.

This is a hidden not so hidden Mexican restaurant in the antelope valley, I’ve tried the chile verde(very good) the shrimp cocktail tastes fresh and the enchiladas de pollo verdes could be more juicy but overall it’s a nice place to go with the family. I would recommend it. (Service is hit or miss fyi)

I grew up out here in Lancaster and I am ashamed that I’ve missed this gem of the AV for over 30 years! Immediately the vibe is quaint and comfortable. Staff was very kind and professional, accommodating and courteous. The salsa and bean dip were the I’ve had since Los Toros in the valley. Nasy, this was better!
The food was so good and flavorful. The soup was just enough, another flavorful addition. I have to say the best place I’ve eaten all year and that’s a lot and even coming from the AV where my expectations aren’t very high.
This is the best place for Mexican food in the AV. I’m so glad I found this on my birthday, such a gift. Do yourself a favor and eat here, now! 10/10

We went on Valentine’s Day for late lunch/ early dinner to beat the crowds. The place was pretty empty. I didn’t care too much for the seating arrangement. They sat us close to a doorway that the staff frequent, so it wasn’t very private. There was always someone walking by. Even though there seemed to be a lot of staff, service was a bit slow. It took a while for them to take our order, I even had to let someone know we were ready to order. However, they were quick and attentive when bringing chips and salsa and bean dip. They were also very nice and polite. The chips weren’t warm or fresh, but not stale either. The salsa was really good, probably the best I had from a Mexican restaurant! I did not like the bean dip. It has a taste of allspice or nutmeg that I really don’t like (the bean dip taste the same as all the others I’ve tried at other restaurants), but my husband liked it. It was just the two of us, and our meals took a long time to prepare, longer than any other restaurant we’ve been to, which was weird since the place was pretty empty. That being said, the food was really good! Maybe that’s why it takes so long, lol. I got the number 12, Taco, enchilada, and Chile Relleno plate. It was so much food, and I had a lot of leftovers, but since I’ve never been, I wanted to try a variety of what they offer. I really liked everything. My husband ordered the Carne Tampequena (not sure of the spelling) it was meat and veggies wrapped in bacon. He liked it but said he would order something different next time. We also ordered the fried ice cream, I never had fried ice cream, so I don’t know how it’s supposed to taste, but it was so chewy and hard to eat! It seemed like they pre-make it and keep it in the freezer, based on the taste and texture. It’s definitely not something I would order again. But they made it look very pretty and appetizing! Even though service wasn’t the best, we still left a big tip, it was Valentine’s Day after all! All in all we will go back again, especially since we live close by.

I would like to start off by saying that the staff and food were amazing. Both waiters were very attentive and made sure we were doing well. The food was very delicious as well as the horchata they served. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to get genuine Mexican food in the area.

This place is literally the go to spot for this whole area. If you are near here or traveling passing this area then definitely stop here to eat. I work for Spectrum on the electrical poles and on this day I had to work this area miles and miles away from home and I am sure glad I chose this for my lunch spot. The burrito was so darn good, I also got a side of celery sticks and carrots with ranch (which I always get if it’s an option anywhere I go) and very much enjoyed every bite of all the things I ordered. The chips and salsa they give you before you are ready to order is very much appreciated because wow they are amazing, especially that salsa. Great job on it, the sauce and food and atmosphere and staff definitely deserve that A++ from me.

Mexican restaurant in the Antelope Valley area. Valentines steak and lobster special and the beef taco combination plate our choices for tonight’s dinner. Chips n salsa plus a side of chili beans. Steak was tender, lobster juicy served with a side of butter and baked potato. Side house salad and thousand island. Albondiga soup, good choice. I’ll come again. Good service.

Our inaugural experience at Don Sebastian Mexican Restaurant was truly delightful. The impeccable service complemented the exquisite flavors of the dishes we savored. What truly amazed us was how even our discerning children, known for their selective palates, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. This revelation speaks volumes about the quality and appeal of the cuisine. We’ve now found our go-to spot, ensuring a satisfying dining experience for every member of our family.
