Hear me out. You might be looking at the menu wondering how or if a $14 ham and cheese sandwich could possibly be worth it, or whether $10 for a bowl of soup is reasonable. But I’m here to tell you how absolutely incredible the food, quality and staff are here and that it’s worth every penny!

I don’t even like focaccia, or didn’t. Because apparently whatever anyone else sells is full of preservatives and stale. The bread here is lightly salted, so fresh and springy – I’ve never had anything better!

We ordered the “normal” ham and cheese, and everything from the slightly herbed ham to the sharp cheese and creamy mayo was superb.

We got wedding soup for this cold day, and the flavor and quality would have made my Italian grandma proud.

The space is beautiful and the staff is so friendly, we picked up to-go for work lunch today but will absolutely be back to dine in.

If you’re reminiscent of Panera of the past – before private equity takeover, but even then still 100x better in taste and quality – definitely check this amazing new local option out!

Oh man, this was really good, I ordered the prosciutt-oh yeah sandwhich, which is prosciutto and arugula with a nice fresh basil ricotta spread. The bread just amazing, im not a big fan of focaccia bread, but they make theirs in house and its the best focaccia I’ve ever had. It was so light and fresh, but had a nice crust that really makes it great for sandwhiches. Just good stuff all around, go check em out.

Visited mid afternoon today and ordered the ‘prosciutt-oh yeah’ sandwich served on hand made focaccia.
So delicious & fresh. Ingredients sourced locally and sustainably is a major plus.
The owner/chef was the there and gave me a sample of bread pudding he made with the focaccia.. it featured dried cranberries and candied pecans. It was amazing and they definitely should offer that!
Sorry, there isn’t much left in my photo — I ate first!
The lady behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming, as well as the chef. Places like this deserve all the praise! Thank you, I will be back.

I’ve visited Café Verde three times now, and every single experience has been absolutely excellent. It is rare to find a spot that hits the mark so consistently, but they nail it every time.
Here is why I keep coming back:
• The Food: Everything tastes incredibly fresh and high-quality. The portions are generous and you definitely won’t leave hungry!
• The Focaccia: You have to try the focaccia bread. It is easily some of the best I’ve ever had with fantastic texture and flavor.
• The Salads: Often, salads feel like an afterthought, but here they are vibrant, crisp, and delicious.
• The Grand Finale: Do not leave without trying the Bread Pudding. It is quite literally out of this world!

Worth every penny. Everything was tasty, large portions with healthy ingredients and locally sourced. My wife and I loved the chick pea salad, fiesta bowl, turkey sandwich and Italian wedding soup. Everything had great flavor. Staff was extremely kind saying hello to us as soon as we walked in the door. I am so thankful Cafe Verde is in zelienople. Spoke with Josh-what a nice gentleman. This is the perfect cafe for a nice lunch or dinner. We will be back many times no doubt.

We had such a great experience at Cafe Verde! The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the bread. Our 2-year-old kept talking about wanting strawberries, and the staff kindly brought some out for free, which absolutely made his day. It’s those thoughtful touches that really make a place stand out. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Nice atmosphere, servicevis AMAZING! Dave and the staff are shining stars in the food service world, they make it worth stopping by. But, it is a restaurant, and without good food all is for nought. Cast your worries aside, here you will find the most fresh, tasty, hand crafted meals anywhere in the region. Truly remarkable taste at a price just a little over fast food. Great value, awesome service, and delicious food make this THE place to go!

Notable the fact that they make their own focaccia and that they offer PANZANELLA, a dish that was common in paesants houses in Tuscany where old dry crusty bread was rescued and reused, immersed in some water and tomato with spices, and made eatable again. These dishes of what is known as “cucina povera”, or peasant food from rustic households of farmers and shepards, is having a renaissance in trendy urban eatieries. I now expect the culinary chefs to add ACQUACOTTA soon to the menu, a dish steeped in tradition in the southern Tuscany region of Maremma.
