As you can see from the photos it may look appetizing but the minced beef dish was a disappointment. The beef was chewy and tough. The tropical curry dish with tofu was also not flavorable. The only thing that was decent was the steam tofu. See photos, as you can see this is not chicken satay. It was small pieces of chicken. Usually Chicken Satay are in skewers. The flavors tasted like we were at a Indian restaurant. Oh yeah , the steamed rice was the worst rice I ever had. It did not taste fresh or fluffy. It was dry and grainy.
The server was lacking attentive service. The server not once stop by our table to ask how everything was. We had to flag him to come to our table. The restaurant was empty with only our table and a another customer who just sat down across from us . TWO tables only in the restaurant. Not busy. Please go the Thai Connection on Elm Street and you will not be disappointed.
We had sticky rice with Mango which I’d never tried. The rice was sweet and not too sticky, mango was ripe and sweet.
Papaya salad – delicious but be warned it’s spicy
Regular sticky rice – not as sticky as I’m used but still good.
Satay (I think) – I’ve always had on a skewer so I was thrown off that it was in a small food container in chunks but chicken was well cooked and delicious with the (peanut) dipping sauce.
Pineapple fried rice – rice was well cooked, delicious!
Location and interior are a little less than ideal but I’ll be back for the pleasant staff and delicious food.
Photographed below is our dinner! Smallest portion of rice I’ve ever seen, and the curry was watery and portion was small compared to other restaurants in the area.
Sticky rice and mango, pad Thai were great! I have a gluten allergy and none of this food made me sick. Just wish it filled us up for the price we paid on their actual website, $81 🙁
I got the green curry, the smell was amazing and tasted extremely good, it was spicy (I typically do not like spicy food) but I kept eating it because it was so good. My mom’s fried rice and my son’s pad Thai was extremely good and flavorful.
The owner Eddy was very friendly, I had mentioned I saw him on YouTube and he told us about the restaurant and he was impressed our 9 year old son ate sushi.
I would highly recommend Muse, it is easy to miss driving by thinking it is a hole in the wall restaurant.
