I’ve gone to other local sushi restaurants over the years and honestly struggled to find any in Utah County that were noteworthy. I decided to try Kahi Sushi because of the reviews. It did not disappoint! It is my new favorite sushi in Utah county. All of the ingredients are fresh, flavorful & made with attention & intention. The fish was fresh & high quality. The restaurant itself is impressively clean. The aesthetic is intentional, natural, like you would expect from a sushi bar in Japan.

And the service was on another level. The owner made my sushi and he was an absolute delight, extremely skilled and has an obvious passion for Sushi.

I ordered the Sweet Jesus Roll, Baja Roll, miso soup, edamame & a pot of green tea. The tea pot was a traditional cast iron and the tea bag was hand filled with loose leaf toasted brown rice green tea- THIS attention to flavor & experience is what make Kahi Sushi a cut above the rest!! I only leave reviews when I loved the food and my overall experience- Kahi Sushi hits every mark and then some!

Really sleek, nice place to grab some sushi and noodles. Came during a time when it was really empty, cause we (I) was craving some udon in the mid-afternoon after a hike. We ordered their udon with veggie and shrimp tempura, as well as their bleeding dragon. The udon was pretty decent, but I think the best part was actually the sushi! I think we chose a good flavor.
The one lady serving us was honestly so super sweet. She was very polite and courteous, and frequently checked up on if we needed anything.
Overall, awesome and kinda lowkey place for the sushi!

We had a great experience at Kahi Sushi for date night. The jalapeño bombs were absolutely delicious! Next time I’ll just have those for my meal. I loved the veggie tempura roll. The staff were really amicable and the menu has many options for allergies.

I stopped by on a Saturday night with friends. We noticed they have Happy Hour pricing starting at 9:00 p.m. so we lingered outside for a little bit and entered about 5 minutes till. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table. Asked if this was our first time at the restaurant (yes), recommendations were given and appreciated.
We go to many sushi restaurants. We typically order the same basic items for comparison and one or two signature items in addition. For this visit our list included: Gyoza, Sake Nigiri, California, Las Vegas, Sunset, Kahi, and Baha. The gyoza was cooked, but not pan fried afterward. This isn’t a condemnation simply an observation. People like dumplings in different ways. We didn’t have a bad item in the bunch. Everything was fresh and tasty. The Vegas roll had a taste in the spicy mayo that we didn’t recognize. It wasn’t a bad taste, just a note. We loved the baha roll, probably the favorite. Our least liked roll was the Kahi, which is their signature. Texture was most of it, and competing elements that got lost in the mix was the rest.
The restaurant was elegant and we all felt that they were trying to be upscale. A goal which we felt they achieved. The chairs were very comfortable. The place settings, glasses, napkins, even the chopsticks were all better than standard fast casual, more like a dining experience should be.
Pricing was higher than most sushi spots we’ve visited. A glance at the menu and quick math put most rolls between $14 and $20. However, the Happy Hour pricing on select rolls gives 40% off, which we enjoyed.
Overall, very solid choice for sushi and a very lovely experience. They deserve your patronage. We’ve seen restaurants struggle in that location and hope the very best for this one.

My wife and I had a great experience at Kahi. What makes this restaurant stand out from among others isn’t the food. Its the service. The hostess was absolutely delightful. Very friendly and happy. Our waitress was equally friendly and accommodating. The entire staff said goodbye to us when we left, even the sushi makers behind the counter. That was nice. My wife thought the sushi was the among the best she’s had. For me, it was definitely good, but not what I would consider 5 star, especially for higher than usual prices. I’ve had a lot of sushi, and i like strong and distinct flavors with over the top presentation. It was definitely tasty, creative, and well presented, so keep heading in that direction. I particularly liked the Jalapeno Bomb appetizer.

We love eating here!! My sushi rolls were incredible! I got the honey mango and golden wave and they were amazing! Also the spicy edamame and jalapeño bombs were such good flavors! Extra flavorful! And the mochi ice cream was the cherry on top, sooo good, mango and strawberry flavor! Thanks Jk and Elias!

Went in for Happy hour. I ordered the Yellowtail, Salmon Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. There was a slight mix-up, and I received a Spicy California roll instead of the tuna roll, but they comp’d the roll. Turned out to be a happy mistake! They made it with a unique twist! Very tasty The baked mussels were particularly delicious!

Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating to our various questions as I am unable to eat gluten or dairy. Vivienne double-checked to make sure all the rolls and appetizers were safe for me to eat. She was a gem!

Recommended by a trusted source and this place is such a hidden gem !! Warmly greeted and welcomed as soon as you enter the doors. Decor is great and interior is clean.

Sushi is top quality, miso is flavorful and served always hot (temperature), and I really enjoy their salmon teriyaki dinner here, served and presented well on the plate ️. Servers are always happy and delightful and always check in on us. This is my new FAV sushi/japanese spot!

I regularly get takeout here after the gym and it’s amazing quality sushi. I’ve had some of the competition in the area and this place beats it all in flavor. I rarely frequent any restaurant and this one is just so freaking good.

First time coming here and it was SO good.

I’ve been searching for a good sushi place after the one I used to go to declined and this place did not disappoint. It tasted fresh and vibrant and the best sushi I’ve been to in years!

The people were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the server was so sweet and attentive.

10000% will be coming back and will likely be a new regular there!

Thank you so much for the great experience!
