When I pulled up, instead of ordering at the speaker, I was waved to the window to order at. The employee then asked what I wanted, I let him know I wanted an original 4 piece dark combo, with mashed potatoes; 6 legs original, he then told me how much I owed instead of asking if I wanted anything else. I then let him know I also wanted a 5 piece tender combo with the Mac and cheese. He did not ask for drinks until after we got the food. Which took at least 15 minutes. When we got home, we noticed that the 4 piece dark had spicy and original. And 2 of the 6 legs were spicy as well. The Mac and cheese also had an unknown dark substance in it, and the Mac and cheese that didn’t have the substance also tasted off putting. Lastly, all of the food was cold by the time I got home, which is a 7 minute drive.

This place is another rip off. Employees can’t identify dark meat from light. Keep getting home with a box full of thighs. This is the second time. I’m beginning to think it’s intentional. Double charge us and give half the value. 30 dollar box of chicken and sides for the cost of a 5 dollar pack of thighs and 2 dollar pack of legs. Hell of a margin. Employees act untrained 2/11/26. Gotta find good people.. Call the location, it’s a cell phone without mailbox space. Easy to avoid angry customers! Seems like another rich idiot hoping to just build and get cash, without thinking of the future. We’re stuck with the bad service and losses. I’m a local stuck going to this, because choices are limited in Vidor. Sadly this is a relatively new location, already on the downward slide. Can’t depend on this place for dinner, shame.

I never leave a review, but this establishment is horrible. The lady working there cannot get an order right to save her soul. You can tell that she hates her job through her interaction and actions with people. Their chicken pieces must come from starving chickens because they’re the smallest I’ve ever seen with nothing but batter with no meat. Don’t waste your money! Horrible service with horrible food!

This Is the third time I’ve purchased from churches chicken Vidor, Texas. And every single time the order is wrong. They either gave us food that we didn’t order or they don’t fulfill the order at all. it toat all. Twice we have had it and the oil tasted old.. Tried to call to speak to a manager , manager was not there . Tried to look up store number so that I could make you can file a complaint.. it was no where to be found.
It’s a shame that a brand new restaurant can’t get it together. I bet their numbers are horrible and I also bet that corporate doesn’t know how they’re running it.

Rudest employee at the drive thru window. I hardly ever leave reviews. The church’s chicken employee was so rude to my wife when she hadn’t even said one word to the lady and neither one of us know what the issue even was. Sad because we live in the area and will make a point to never be back. Absolutely unacceptable.

Got to the store a little before 9, no one answered in the drive thru so I pulled to the window, 9:05 tried to order some tenders, they said they were out and the grill shuts down at 9. So you mean to tell me this store doesn’t close til 10 and you stop making chicken at 9? What kind of business is this?

First let me start off by saying I love Church’s Chicken I happen to think of some of the best chicken out there however I will also add that when I ordered I was very polite sweet accommodating truly nice because I worked for food service for many many years and I know what tyrant customers can be when it comes to food. So I placed my order very basic three-piece chicken tender meal with fries sweet tea light ice I get to the window I pay she said it’ll be right up I wait for literally nearly 10 minutes for my food when I get my food she said oh yeah we’re running behind on fries?? 10 minutes for fries come on now anyway I pull forward open my box because I always check to make sure my food is right I got what appeared to be the three smallest pieces of chicken anybody could ever find and a handful of fries literally not that much in the way of fries now I don’t like to complain but if you wait that long you should at least have a good meal ahead of you and very disappointed I usually eat here once a week I’m not going to bother first time I ordered from them when they first opened I ran into a snafu because it took them forever to get my food two strikes you’re out I’m not going for three please don’t waste your money eat elsewhere
