It’s McDonald’s. The food was fine. The staff was transactional – not friendly, for sure, but not rude. The drive through moved at a steady speed. Not fast but not frustrating.
I can’t say that this is my favorite place to go. I find their food more expensive than other fast food restaurants, and their staff isn’t particularly welcoming. I only go to this location in a pinch..

i don’t come to this location very often but whenever i do i usually go thru the drive thru. Every time i go i feel like im given my food to by robots. Nobody says anything, not a hello how are you. not a you’re welcome after i say thank you for them giving me my food. It’s like ??? hello are you alive ? even when i go to pay they don’t ask cash or card they just wait until i pull something out like ??? I don’t know i think the people who work drive thru js need to be retrained on basic manners lol. I’ve worked fast food before and have never been miserable enough to completely not acknowledge somebody.

I came to the McDonald’s on South Ave in Plainfield for the Monopoly promotion. I ordered items that the app showed were part of the Monopoly game, including a sausage, egg & cheese McGriddles, but my food didn’t have the peel. When I mentioned it at the window, the employee was rude and dismissive, and the manager told me it wasn’t included. Later, I checked the app and the game paper, which clearly showed it was eligible. When I went back to explain, the manager changed her story and said it was “only for online orders,” but couldn’t show me where it said that. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional and confusing.

This morning I came to this establishment to get breakfast .. they made a mistake and messed up my order .. I asked to speak to a manager “ Marybell “ she insisted that I pay extra because their employee got my order misconstrued. Argued with me for 15 mins about a drink instead of fixing the situation. Saying “ her system won’t allow her to give me the correct drink “ In utter disbelief with her customer service skills.

Beautiful indoor space with a nice seating area, large wall mounted TV’s, electric outlets for mobile gadgets, table service, free WiFi and a beautiful clean bathroom. The counter staff is friendly and keep the lines moving. The drive-thru has two lanes for ordering and a scenic water feature to look at as you wait. There are events held here occasionally with local music bands, local radio station DJ’s playing live with giveaways, etc.
