My husband and I will come here whenever we crave for dim sum. Servers are always friendly although they only speak couple of English words. Some aunties will come and offer foods from their carts. They have steamed, baked and fried items. In my opinion, prices are affordable enough.

One of the best authentic Chinese restaurant in the area. We no longer going to Chinatown due to bad traffic and parking conditions. This place has a huge parking lot, next to a Asian grocery store. It’s perfect for going for Dimsum and also do your groceries after.

We tried a few dishes with the host/chef recommendations, it was FANTASTIC!

Strongly recommended!

China Pearl is a special place. It’s a cut above the rest for any dim sum restaurant I’ve encountered in the Boston area. If you’re visiting on the weekend, they have cart service dim sum until about 2:00pm. Sometimes there’s a line, but it tends to move fairly quick. I’ve never waited more than 15-20 minutes even when they were very busy. The earlier you arrive, the better. The people working here are incredibly sweet and hard working. It’s a big restaurant that’s pumping out a lot of food and it’s always crowded on the weekend. The food is always fresh and absolutely top notch. The owners are very hands on and you can see them helping out in so many places in the front of house. They treat everyone there like family and it’s a heartwarming experience every time. They’ve even accommodated me for certain items that sell out early by suggesting I call to have them hold a few of my favorites to the side and have come through for me every time. They also accommodate our special requests for kitchen items that aren’t on the carts. I can’t say enough great things about the kind of experience you’ll have at China Pearl. This is a must and absolutely the highest quality dim sum you can find near Boston.

Some of my favorites include char siu bao, chicken feet, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf, egg custard pineapple buns, sweet tofu pudding, beef chow fun with gravy, sesame balls, rice roll with fried dough, salted egg steam bun, salty dumpling “football”, and siumai. There are frequently items that roll up on the carts that aren’t on the menu and that I’ve never seen before which is always a nice surprise and adds to the excitement of coming here.

Unfortunately, China Pearl has been closed.

The website is still up, and Google shows that it is temporarily closed, but I am not sure if it’s coming back.

(It was great while it lasted though.)

My go-to for dim sum. I love that it’s still served on the push carts! Very nostalgic! Service is friendly and fast. If you come before noon for early dim sum on weekends, it much less busy. If you do not see something in particular on the push carts, you can place a special order for it.

China pearl in Chinatown Boston is being Renovated. So they are now doing business at a China pearl in Quincy. The place was very large very clean is lean amazingly fresh food and friendly staff. We were very pleased with our food. I suggest dim sum in the morning bemorning between 9 and 2 I believe. Chinese breakfast. 11 o’clock is a good time to go they bring the food around on little carts and then there is a steam table that opens up with some of the more expensive items in smaller portions. If you order from the menu the larger portions are more expensive. Great place best place for dim sum

The dim sum here is Decent. The wait isn’t to crazy long. Service is a hit or miss depending on how busy they are . They have good authentic Chinese food at night. Price is typical of any restaurant. Worth a shot

My family and I had a great meal at China Pearl tonight. We were a group of 14 and had vegetarians and gluten free people in the group and they were so accommodating, Patty in particular. We were able to give them a list of dishes we wanted to order ahead of time and we didn’t have to wait long before the food arrived. I am gluten free and would definitely go back- the food was delicious and it’s hard sometimes to get gluten free Chinese food. Highly recommend for large groups and for those with allergies! They took great care of us.

China pearl is such a better option that the Boston Chinatown dim-sum places. Not only is the food good, but the service and atmosphere is much friendlier. Boston dim-sum is so hectic especially with the lack of parking and lines.

Also the bathrooms here are spotless; they even put ice in the men’s urinals to keep men from pissing all over then place since they are preoccupied with melting the ice in the urinal. Great for large parties and families. They start serving alcohol at 12pm

The fastest restaurant we will eat in and out of!
It truly was the worst dimsum I have had in Boston area.
The beef rice roll had a strange flavour
The shrimp roasted rice roll was horrible
The seafood smells really bad and the meat is very poor quality
