my friend and i saw that Birria LES was at the holiday markets but the prices were insane so we came to their store locations instead (also they are all halal). there was no wait – we went on a saturday around 1pm, lots of tall chair counter / booth seating. the food was amazing. we kept going ordering more. the tacos were filling and the cilantro didn’t overpower, which i loved. the grilled cheese beef birria changes my brain chemistry!!!! i recommend everyone to try it, i was a little skeptical, but it was one of the most delicious and new experience i had all year. i would travel the hour from queens to eat the sandwich more often if i could. the nachos were yummy but it was hard to pull out without making a small mess. still would buy again. 12/10 food, experience, and space.

This has become my favorite spot on St. Marks Street. I often come here for tacos and tostadas when I’m in the area. The tostadas have crunchy shells with moist and tasty beef. Everything I’ve had here is full of flavor and delicious. Always fresh – the taste and texture is just right.

i usually go to the birria LES on rivington st, but wanted to roam around st marks. i’m not sure if this is available at all locations, but the innovations on the menu are astonishing in the best way possible! they’ve got birria sliders (which my friend ordered,) birria dumplings, and birria texas toast garlic bread grilled cheese which is what i ordered. i got it with chicken- and no regrets. This was $15 but it kept me FULL. it’s a bit pricey (although not for new york,) but definitely worth it. never disappointed here.

I’ve always loved the birria les chain and I really like this location as it has good amount of seating.

Dropped by with my wife on a chill Tuesday afternoon — no crowds, no chaos, just tacos. Were they the best tacos in East Village? Maybe not. But were they good? Absolutely. The sauces had a nice kick, and the vibe was super laid-back. Staff was friendly, food came out fast, and we left happy and full. Sometimes that’s all you really need.

Ordered delivery via seamless last week during the storm and there was some miscommunication with the delivery driver. The food ended up not arriving to my place. Called the place and explained the situation. Owner Iggy(hope I spelled correctly) immediately called me back and tried to fix the issue and was on top of it. First time in my life the owner called back and genuinely tried to fix the problem. Really appreciate.
And needless to say, the food here is phenomenal. Life time customer.

Amazing birria tacos and consume. Best I’ve had outside of Mexico. Atmosphere is a bit thin but honestly that’s not what you come here for. Service was great – super helpful given I was trying to understand the menu options while jet-lagged – and the food came quickly and piping hot.
