Ive gone to Rosita’s since I was young.Last night was the worse service i’ve had at any restaurant. Purely unpleasant and unnecessary.
The manger was notified of a party of 20 coming in for a birthday party weeks ago. When my group arrive there were not enough seats, silverware, etc. We made it work. Prior to ordering we tried to making it easy by saying whose food would be on what ticket- the main waitress said that she just have them separate the items at the counter- because she did not want to give the cook multiple tickets (??) Simple enough. We waiting over an hour for food that was cold, when we asked for refill we were told we had to wait until all the food came out. After food came out, we still did not get our waters refilled.. That’s truly what bothered me the most. How hard is it to just bring a jug of water for a table?
As we tried to pay for our tickets the person at the counter said they were not going to split the ticket and tried to stick the bill on one person.
We explained what the waitress said to us at the beginning and were meant with resistance and hostility. Eventually the person at the counter joined the 21st century and split the tickets up.
All and all, it was a horrible experience!
Please go to literally any other restaurant in Scottsbluff.

My husband and I ate here for the first time and were very impressed. Everything was homemade, including the tortillas. They give their own “twist” to the normal Mexican cuisine. They gave us 2 free tortillas with salsa. The salsa had a lot of flavor with some heat. The red sauce on the burritos was really good and the jalapeños in it weren’t hot, just flavorful. Everything we had to eat was amazing! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The waitress.checked on us 3 times along with 2 others. The restaurant was pretty busy and we still got our meals fast. We will definitely be going back to this restaurant to try different dishes!!!

The are hoping owners are praying their legacy keeps them open . However, there are way other amazing restaurants in Scottsbluff that treat their customers with respect. Give those restaurants your money!

We have been coming to Rositas for a lifetime and has been a stapple in our lives growing up. They aren’t the same as they were years ago sadly and i don’t foresee them lasting very long if what i saw is the norm. Being very patient it took 2 hours before we received chips, staff was very rude, some people never received eating utensils, food was cold, cheese never melted, over an hour before they took the order. Worst of all they actually made it hard to leave and we ended up having property stolen while visiting this establishment. To bad.. This was a great restaurant once upon a time.

This was our first time at Rosita’s new location. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Our waitress was right there to take our drink order and our food order. Prices were competitive and the food was super. We waited less than five minutes to get our food after ordering. OH–and the fresh tortillas and salsa to start our experience was so very impressive. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great dining experience. Thank you!

We went there with a large group of people tonight and they had be notified prior to our arrival that we needed seating for 20. They have seating for 16 and then acted like we were just a hindrance to them. It literally took them 1 hour to even come get our food order, we had to ask for silverware 3 different times, asked for chips 4 times, etc. and then the waitress told us she would break up the ticket at the register so that we could pay individually. When it came to pay, they tried to make one person pay $611 and then for us all to figure it out angst one another. They were incredibly RUDE and we all refused to pay until they broke down the ticket as promised. I will NEVER go back there again.

Cannot handle a party of 20 with some accidental extras. Mind you a reservation was made WEEKS before hand and advised will be a large party of twenty. Didn’t even have the right number of chairs in there to begin with. Started immediately with sass when asked for the remaining chairs.
At the end of the night, employees held the whole party hostage out of pettiness and an intimidation act. Even after confirmation of payment!
Still holding a baby’s diaper bag hostage.
Will be reporting, just wanted to express what an embarrassment this restaurant is to this community. Shame, the potential could be there
