I have to give a shout out to the owner and staff for this place ❤️. Usually really great customer service and the food is always just about perfect. If there is ever an issue, they’ll fix it without complaint! I also love get that they have scriptures on the walls…that definitely adds a sentimental touch❤️. Thank you guys!

I used to love to eat here, but not anymore. The last couple of tomrd the food was mediocre, but giving the benefit of the doubt I tried again, thinking everyone has an off day. Today will be my last try. My husband picked up dinner and it was inedible. I had the beef hibachi, he had shrimp. This is far worse than mediocre, it’s disgusting. The rice tasted old, rancid, and like is sat for a week. The meat had a greasy weird smell. I took one bite and threw it away, as did my husband with his. There needs to be new management or something, a deep clean of the entire place, and offer fresh food again. Just sad to see how bad it’s become.

Food was good. Portions between the Chinese bows and plates need work. They charge $2 extra for the plate that holds the same amount of food as the bowl.

Taste and texture I has the hibachi shrimp. Shrimp was ok, rice ok but the vegetables and until sauce seem to have a perfume taste. Veggies were over cooked.
Eggrolls were not your regular texture and taste either.
They need to taste their own food and make improvements otherwise their business will sink

Food:
The rice is the only thing I don’t have a complaint for thus far.

Whoever is seasoning the chicken is EXTREMELY heavy handed, the lemon pepper wings for the past 2 orders have been so overseasoned we couldn’t even eat them. There is so much seasoning it makes your mouth hurt and your wrists break out in sweats.

Today (3/11/25) i tried their egg rolls and wontons for the 1st time..i didn’t expect the egg roll to have what I think was meat in it (they could have kept that). I will never order wontons from.here again. There was no cheese in them, it was like eating an air fluffed extra crisp dorito. I’m use to other places serving wantons with the almost cream cheese like cheese in the center and was hoping that’s what this would have been. The wontons were a waste if $7, I couldn’t even eat the other 5

Service:
The times I’ve visited at night, the staff was cool.
Today’s lunch visit (3/11/25) I wasn’t acknowledged when I walked in, I stood in line waiting for the lady in front of me to get finished and then someone gets up from the table area moments later (assumed to have been a customer from the time I enetered) and walked in the checkout area to the 2nd computer and then asks me what I want to order. I informed him I had a pick up order and they both walked over to the area where my food was stood close to one another and eventually brought the bag over and set it on the counter instead of handing it to me.

Atmosphere:
It didn’t smell fresh when I walked in during lunchtime today. The smell was a little off. (3/11/25)

I also noticed the bag they placed my wontons in, I truly hope this was not a used bag from an employees previous visit

This was not worth $12, I think I’ll be taking a break on spending my money here for a while.

I was hesitant about eating here but my son wanted hibachi and I wanted to stay home. This was the common medium. First time eating here and they over delivered. The person who took our order was kind and pleasant. A lot of food was served. Definitely a portion for two. However, the food was 100% delicious!

Ordered a 6 PC garlic ranch wings, around $8, really good and crunchy, although I didn’t taste much garlic. May have found my new lunch spot, maybe have to call ahead, they seem to get pretty busy. Will have to try more things and update.

Cheesesteak rolls were mostly onion and under done so the edges were very doughy. The garlic parm and lemon pepper wings were both fine, I ordered all flats. I ordered a combo with one of the 10pc wings, instead of the shrimp fried rice I asked if they could make it beef. I just wanted to sample multiple items to decide if I should return.
I heard the price and thought it was high.
I got home and realized finally seeing an itemized tally on the receipt attached to the bag. On top of the wings and shrimp fried rice combo I was charged 4.15 for the beef. This was NOT disclosed over the phone or before paying that there would be a surcharge to switch it to beef. Meaning that it costs over $7 for the fried rice and fountain soda if you choose beef instead of $3 for shrimp. I would be absolutely FINE with that if the cashier had said “it will cost $4.15, is that ok?” And of course a rational human being would say absolutely not, never mind.
It was much too close to closing to spend a 20min round trip to complain of the charge while not eating and having all of the $30 of fresh food get ruined by getting cold. That would be absurd.
I came back the next day and was ignored for a while while the cashier and owner took multiple phone calls. I thought I had enough time to stop in and bring up the issue for 5-10min before heading to a family dinner. I got turned away by the cashier who just gestured to the owner who was pretending to ignore me on the phone and rudely said “well he makes the prices” I indicated that this was really $#!++y service and I didn’t have time for it. Come back the next day ask for the manager and he immediately recognized the issue and kept arguing with me over it.
Every other product on the menu beef vs shrimp is the exact same price. I asked him why this fried rice should cost more with NO indication. It’s not like I’m getting the shrimp fried rice with added beef. He made some comparison to Starbucks costing more to add whipped cream???
Then he said something about customers asking for a full refund constantly and I’m like no dude I just don’t want to get overcharged for no reason.. plus there are menu photos on Maps from previous menus the wing and the beef fried combo being the same price, I thought no way it could be that big of a surcharge.
I finally got my 4.15 back for the overcharge of beef. Should really have refunded the entire side of frice rice because it was AWFUL. The most grease saturated, heavy fried rice since I winged it with fresh rice in college and learned the hard way you need day old rice. There was excessive peas and carrots and the confounding 2 massive broccoli stems with 2 microscopic sprigs on the end ???
Oh and he asked me to show him the food. If I can’t “show him the food” then how could he know? I offered him a photo of the food (included) but he declined. I was like dude I can go dig it out of the trash if you want me to but I’m not getting scammed for 4.15 that your employees could’ve easily avoid by acknowledging a crazy charge.
