I’m not one to write reviews for places but I thought it may help some people out when deciding if the want to book or not.
The venue is absolutely stunning with a great location, the vibes inside are immaculate and I love the interior design of the place. The place was fairly busy when we went at 6:30/7 ish, it took a few minutes for us to be seated but that was fine!
We were attended to by some lovely staff who regularly checked in with us during the night- we ordered some entree’s (focaccia and a tomato, cucumber and crouton dish) the croutons in the tomato dish were slightly stale in texture and quite chewy, the tomato pieces were also abit off- mushy in texture, focaccia was fine.
For the main course I ordered the cacio e Pepe which was quite nice and my partner ordered the market fish (snapper) with salad…
Unfortunately the snapper was very over cooked- super dry and was unable to finish. We couldn’t catch a servers attention in time as they were busy so we just had to wait to inform them once we had finished the rest of the food.
The server took our feedback and informed the chef, they were super understanding and apologised. We still paid for all of the food as we didn’t have enough time to send it back which was whatever, we aren’t the type to try score a free meal or discount.
Overall the service was nice, the food was sub-par for the amount of money you pay for each dish.
Would I go back? Probably not for food, but for a few cocktails outside in summer yes.

Lovely place. Another one of our favourite coffee and breakfast spots. The staff are so professional and kind. The food is good and the coffee too. It’s still quite new (Oct 2025), and I like the more contemporary design with windows on two sides, open and bright.
It’s on a park with bbq facilities and a small kids play area making it a great location.
There are walkways parallel to the beach with sea views as well as beach access nearby.

I visited Monelli for breakfast and had a really lovely experience. The location is beautiful, close to the beach, and it wasn’t overcrowded which made it feel really relaxed. I ordered the French toast and it was absolutely delicious! We sat indoors and the atmosphere was calm, quiet, and really comfortable. A great spot to enjoy a nice breakfast and unwind. I’d happily visit again 🙂

Elegant and quaint. Was brought to my attention when they first opened by the Facebook page ‘Hey Perth’. Been for lunch and dinners and never had a bad meal. Steak special Tuesday night for dinner was delicious. Service by staff always excellent in my experience. A little gem that is worth your time and money.

Modern, airy restaurant with a selection nice dishes for a lunch, and friendly service. Its location near the beach, on its own. Fresh dishes, with a good amount of rocket greens for the salads. Some younger staff are still learning, but they make up for it with genuinely friendly service and check with their supervisor if unsure of anything. Parking is limited to the road bays, which may be 5 minutes walk. Also, recommend inside seating. The large windows overlook a relaxed and sheltered green park environment. Nice place, great service, will return. Oh, and the deep fried chips were great!

Lovely café with great food and plenty of sunshine. The brunch menu may be bit limited, but the excellent service more than makes up for it. The staff were courteous, helpful, and really understood the assignment handling our specific requests and preferences .
A perfect spot for brunch, followed by a relaxing walk on the nearby beach.

We had a great time at Monelli. The food was fresh and the vibes were lovely on the Sunday evening we attended.
The customer service was incredible! Our main server, Sinead, was so friendly and accomodating; and Sinead makes a killer espresso martini!
The tiramisu was delicious! It was perfectly balanced; not too sweet or heavy on the liqueur, yet still rich–10/10. ✨

It’s our local restaurant and we only paid our first visit today. I was a bit concerned due to the mixed reviews but the first visit experience was quite pleasant. The environment is nice, breakfast is tasty and the staff there were friendly indeed. Will revisit to try their dinner menu.

Recommend to add a side salad, or vegetables with the lasagna, but the flavours of the meal were absolutely delicious.
The tiramisu was also extremely tasty, and I am not usually a tiramisu fan.
