I had the BBQ ribs, which are made of pork. It was delicious. Easily came of the bone and straight into my mouth. It comes with cole slaw and I chose the string beans with melted cheese and garlic. Those string beans were awesome sides. You get unlimited refills on non-alcoholic drinks as well. Customer service was very good too. The establishment is just a few minutes off of the I-80, exit 34.

We went on Father’s Day and they had a special all you can eat menu. Food was very good. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. Brisket and ribs were delicious. Service was very friendly everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Only issue we had was getting out bill a little mix up but it was resolved quick enough. It was an enjoyable experience.

WoW! Okay so there were 4 of us out to dinner. Me, hubby, and 2 friends. We got the combo order – the one with almost everything in it (our first time there and we didn’t know what to get, but I wanted ribs)…It was just so . The BBQ ribs were so delish- tender, and juicy. The meatballs got everyone nodding. Just nodding while chewing. Coleslaw was really good. Briskets. Quesadilla. Beans…
Don’t worry, we took boxes home. Yeah, and we practically got heads turning with our order. Looked like a birthday celebration meal

We live locally so we go to Hot Rods every few months. The food there is sensational — especially the Burnt Tips (see photo). So tasty! My 7-year-old son loves their kid’s cheeseburger and the fact that he gets a toy car with the meal. I think their BBQ chicken is fabulous and love the corn bread. I never have room for dessert. Well worth going to.

The perfect place for brews, appetizers and a meal. Unique atmosphere and our waitress was excellent. Efficient, accommodating, with a very pleasant sense of humor.
We only had beers and some appetizers and were delighted with everything. I recommend it for after golf, a long hike, or escaping your to do list for a few hours! Just check it out and enjoy the respite.

Great food. Fantastic choices, options for everyone. Prices were great. So many beer choices. Also an extensive cocktail list, wine list and even have mead! Atmosphere is upbeat. Service is ok, was there when busy, waitress was attentive but did not check once food was delivered. That was my only problem, but is not so bad or concerning that it ruined my experience or meal. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were looking for some local BBQ, and visited here for the first time in Nov. 2018.
Clean place. Cool blue collar/biker kind of atmosphere in an old red brick building.
A good mix of varied music played overhead.
Our waiter was a friendly guy who was an excellent server, and very knowledgeable about the restaurant and their offerings.
The prices seemed very reasonable, and we both enjoyed our food. My wife, in particular, got a meatloaf special that was only $15, and I think even a big eater would have trouble finishing everything on that plate.
To nitpick a couple areas: They first tried to seat us in an area that was way too dark for me to sit and eat, with a bit of reluctance to move us.
And my Sprite tasted a little weird.
Altogether though it was a great place we both enjoyed, and we’ll definitely be back.

First the good, the menu has a wide variety, it’s a cool car themed place in a nice area with plenty of parking. The deviled egg appetizer was fantastic. The BBQ was mixed, the brisket was terrible, very dry. The pulled pork was terrible, very dry and it’s hard to screw up pulled pork. The ribs were good and the chicken was good (had dark meat) the standard sauce is possibly the worst BBQ sauce of all time, it has a bad medicine type flavor. That said their other sauce option had a very tasty traditional BBQ flavor and was very good. So make sure to ask for it and avoid the sauce they leave on the table like the plague. Baked beans weren’t good but likely due to the original sauce used on them. The green beans were fantastic. The service was really bad, had to go to the bar to get our own drinks and refills because the waitress ignored us, we had to ask the server several times for our appetizer, which was ready and waiting in the kitchen. That said, any place can have a inattentive server and anyone can have a bad day. All that said, I would go here again and I’d get a burger or the meatloaf. If you go here looking for good BBQ you will be very disappointed, but if you go here looking for a neat spot with burgers and wings and beers, then you will like it.
