Savouring a meal watching this stunning view is one of the best things you can do in Wisconsin Dells! The food in this place is awesome and so are their drinks. We had a blessed time enjoying dinner here. Also I didn’t take a picture of our cheese balls which were perfect so I highly recommend trying that if you have a chance to visit!

Hidden Gem of a restaurant! Has both inside and outdoor seating, both offering views of the lake. We started with two different old fashioned drinks from the bar and they were crafted beautifully and delicious! We ordered two appetizers – the calamari and baked brie. Calamari were breaded, fried and served with a creole mayo sauce. The brie was warm, melty, and tasty. The pan fried walleye – highly recommend. The rainbow trout was also good, but if you like fish, go with the walleye! Both were served with a mushroom risotto which was flavorful and plentiful. Our teenage daughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and added shrimp and she absolutely raved about it. We also had the beignets. They were light, airy, flaky, and flavorful. Our server Owade was attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful. To top it off, the views over the river are breathtaking. We were extremely pleased with our overall experience. We will be back on a future trip to the Dells!

We made a reservation but clearly did not need one. It was valentine’s day. Being that we made a reservation you would think we would have been seated by the windows looking out on the river, but instead were seated by the video poker machines behind the bar. Our server was young but very inexperienced and not trained. Never asked how our food was and never asked why we did not finish most of the food. Clue – not a good sign! I had the sirloin and it was precooked and reheated (warm at best). The garlic mashed potatoes were cold. My wife had the blackened Mahi Mahi and also was precooked and they attempted to warm it up. Made it dry and still was cold. Our drink service was extremely slow. The place was not packed and they clearly were understaffed for service and in the kitchen.

Everything on the menu was delicious. We were seated immediately. Very friendly staff. The risotto was out of this world. Try the brie and bacon jam as well. Great views of the Wisconsin river.

The food here was amazing! I loved the walleye and the mushrooms risotto was the best thing I’ve had. The portions are wonderful and the mussels are a very good starter. The outside has amazing views and If the weather is nice definitely sit outside. I do recommend coming in through the doors that say The Vue. You have to wait to be seated and you have to walk through those front doors to be seated.

We had dinner. It was great. The service was great. The mango margarita was awesome. The cherry vodka mule was really yummy.
I ordered the salmon with asparagus. It was good. It seemed to be missing the lemon caper sauce. Since I enjoyed it, I didn’t complain. The risotto was also good. We skipped the desert and opted for an additional mango margarita instead. The view of the water was incredible.

The portions were extremely small. The taste was mediocre. The service… they had us facing the view sitting next to each other looking out the window… with that being said we were served from behind us the entire time which I found really odd. Not from the side of us since there was only 2 of us, but served … food n asked us what we wanted from between us from the back. Atmosphere was OK. Seating was kinda what was off.
Got the 12 oz and was served 3 asparagus as a side and mashed potatoes. My husband got the Cajun shrimp pasta and was given 3 shrimp. The bowl was rather small. The portion of noodles was even smaller. We both chuckled. Dang.

We sat on the patio, and the views were lovely. Inside the windows are strategically located with tables to also provide lots of great viewing spots. I was so impressed that I may go back when the weather is cold to experience the views that way. The food was good and prices were reasonable for a tourist town.
