We loved our first visit to 35 Beach! We had reservations for 5:45 on a Saturday evening. It was less than half full when we arrived and had people waiting when we left.
The drinks and food were absolute perfection. We ordered the tuna tartare (a wonderful mix of light & savory) & Caesar salad (I didn’t try, but it looked good) to start. Then the short rib tacos and baked haddock for dinner. I’m not kidding when I say it was some of the best haddock we’ve tasted. It had a light topping with slim asparagus spears and garlic mashed potatoes, sooo good. The tacos I would also recommend! If you like short rib and cheese, you won’t find anything better. They also had this lovely caramelized onion sauce on the side.
The service was fantastic, attentive without hovering. They really knew their menu & drink items.
Only drawback from our entire experience…we had a two seat table that faced a corner into a half-wall. The patrons waiting to be seated leaned on the wall chatting and were also leaning over our dinner. Not a deal breaker, and was probably the worst seat in the house. The rest of the tables I couldn’t see an issue with.
We will DEFINITELY be back, but we will probably ask for a different table

Absolute gem of a place, it’s comfortable, cozy and love the food! I got chicken Milanese and it was delicious! The chicken cutlet was golden and crispy, the arugula salad with the fig vinaigrette pairs very well. I recommend this place if you are visiting Manchester by the sea.

We had a delicious dinner and were served by Jacob who was fantastic! We were a party of 7 and had a reservation for 6:30 PM on a Friday and were seen to our table right away. The fig balsamic dressing that we had on the house salad with delicious, and the truffle fries were very tasty too. Everyone enjoyed their entrée, especially the lemon chicken with spaghetti and broccolini special. I definitely recommend coming here for a lovely meal in a cute town!

This is truly a diamond in downtown Manchester-by-the-sea. Very nice updated cozy atmosphere. Great service and friendliness from our wonderful server, Cierra. Had personal table visit from the owner, Margaret, that was very appreciated. The food is excellent with unique espresso barbecue rubbed ribeye steak. Outstanding mussels with very savory broth. Cocktails were great. Highly recommended. Will be back soon!!!

35 Beach is in the old Beach Street location in Manchester-by-the-Sea. Hit or miss here, and they seem to be closed a couple of nights a week. Has a bar that can seat around 10 people – no televisions, and your back is generally to the window as you face the wall or kitchen area. The overall vibe is different here, and while we may not dine in the restaurant again, the food itself is worth a try, and as a plus, they do a great job with takeout…

Always have an incredible experience at 35 Beach! They did a beautiful job renovating the space. I’ve had multiple items on the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet! The burger is the best I’ve had in the area. Chicken Milanese and bolognese are also amazing. Bartender is so friendly and makes the most delicious craft cocktails. Definitely recommend!

If you are looking for an EXCEPTIONAL dining experience look no further than 35 Beach! The Lobster Tempura appetizer was delicious, crispy and light! On the specials was a cucumber, tomato, red onion and goat cheese salad that tasted so fresh and good we think it should be a regular on the menu! For entrees the 18 oz Bone in Ribeye and the Bay of Fundy Salmon were both cooked to perfection and delectably seasoned. Chocolate Tarrone and Beignets for dessert were nothing short of amazing! Great cocktails! Friendly and attentive staff! 35 Beach hits it out of the park!!!

We were celebrating our Anniversary and decided to give 35 a try.
It exceeded our expectations. The owners sent over a glass of prosecco for us to toast our day (this was a very nice touch, thank you).
All of our food was perfectly seasoned and presented well. The drinks were wonderful… Not too strong but you did taste the spirit of choice which is how a cocktail should be.
We had a lovely server who was very nice and I am sure with time will gain more confidence in serving.
The menu was very interesting and we are sure to return to try some other dishes.
Our picks: mussels, the southwestern salad, the scallops and the chicken katsu . All were very good.
