The greeting upon walking thru the front door is welcomed. Love that my orders are always ready on time. You can tell they use quality ingredients, right down to the Dukes mayo packets. I love their meatball subs. It’s the only thing I get when visiting. It’s a bit expensive, but you do get what you pay for. Never a bad experience.

Sunday evening, January 11th it got really uncomfortable in there as one employee started SHOUTING at their co-worker, I think for throwing something. It went on for about 15-20 seconds. I like the food but that was really inappropriate and unprofessional. Was there a manager on duty at the time who just allowed all that to happen without saying a word to either employee?

Stopped in to get the meatball pizza sub today and was not disappointed. Got the large, which is bigger than I remember the large subs being. Also got a cup of chili. The sub was good but very messy. The bread was sliced all the way through and my meatballs kept falling out of the bread. The flavors were good. The chili was good, a bit of spice which was nice. The little pack of oyster crackers was a nice touch. Friendly staff and quick service. The store was clean.

Firehouse is one of the best places to get a sandwich!! Doesn’t matter what your flavor is, they have it. The sandwiches are delicious and savory. They have a variety of sandwiches or you can build your own, and your choice of 3 different sizes. The customer service averages on the positive side but of course, varies by location and staff. The Shawnee Mission location almost always has great service and the food is always on point. If you love sandwiches, check this place out! My husband introduced me and it is one of our favorite places to get a sub. I also love what they represent. Our courageous firefighters that dedicate their lives to saving others and making the world safer. Can’t get better than that message with such amazing flavors and prices!

I had ordered the buy 1 get 1 free Italian subs. I requested cucumbers. I wasn’t expecting cucumber salad. The subs were messy, the cucumber salad ruined the taste of the Italian sub for me.
