No Sooner had SHE taken my order, it was ready made in the quick step and I was back out the door on my way back to work.
Just in time for break. That girl deserves a raise!
As for the pizza, it is alright for the cost that it came out to. They serve an almost New York style thin crust, but it is extremely dry and crusty. The sauce and ingredients were all quite delicious however.
Much thinner crust then they had a cpl years ago and when the crust is that thin the toppings need to go to the edge and not have an inch of exposed crust. I had to dress up my pepperoni pizza with Italian seasoning and garlic salt as there was very little flavor. Not how I remember them at all. Could have gotten a Jack’s frozen pizza which is much cheaper and would have been just as satisfied. And could have driven to the store and cooked them for the same amount of time from order to pick up.
I placed the order via the app and arrived 5 minutes earlier than my pick-up time and still waited 20 more minutes while everyone else picking up walked in and out in 2 minutes with their order. I’m guessing mine was forgotten or lost.
The staff seemed average to nice but not much of an apology for the long additional wait.
I’ll stick to Casey’s for the time being unless a really good promotion comes up.
Edit: Note to mgmt: so when I wait 15-20 min past my pickup time in store I should suggest to mgmt to make my order on time? Is that how I can make my experience better?!
