My supervisor took me here for lunch and soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with “Welcome Home “. I never heard a greeting like that before in my life walking into a restaurant,but the food and the customers service made you feel like you were home for the holidays. The food was just simply amazing; but what struck the most was the chef coming to each table and checking and chatting with his clients. Clean bathrooms and clean establishment overall. Fresh hot food was constantly being prepared and served. This is definitely one of those hole in the wall hidden gems and you want go wrong eating here if you are looking for some good quality barbecue

Just ate here today for the first time. The food, service, atmosphere and staff were amazing. The food was hot and fresh. It was delicious. It felt like we were eating at home with family. The staff were very informative about the services offered in the restaurant. There is no doubt we will be back soon. We will be bringing others with us.

Under new ownership and the new owner is an amazing man, very kind and humble and his staff is just the same. I felt at home after the welcome myself and my wife got it was actually amazing how the owner interacts with his customers. The food is just as amazing, the ribs are cooked perfectly dry and wet, the Mac and cheese was delicious and the yams are the absolute best I’ve ever had, the banana pudding to finish off our meal was pretty good itself but just the atmosphere made this visit the most spectacular place I’ve ate at in a good while. If in saraland Alabama you should stop by and see these good ole folks and tell big kountry the owner hello, I’m sure he’d love to chat with yall.

I’ve been twice now with my coworker and we love it!!! Buffet was solid and the Mac and cheese is perfect. Got a pulled pork sandwich this time and was not disappointed. It’s a little bit of a drive for us but worth it. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Also got to meet the owner and she was super sweet lady.

This is THE place to stop for BBQ. Friendly service! The buffet is excellent! Even have fried ribs. Yum! The cheesy rice has a crust on top, better than the rice itself. Don’t get me wrong, the rice is great too, but everything is better burnt! Spicy sausage is excellent! Best banana pudding I’ve ever had. Right off the highway. Check it out!

The food was terrible. You can tell is has changed hands. Ribs were tough!! Like shoe leather.Had to wait on food constantly. Only brought a small amount at the time. Not enough of anything for a buffet. We used to come here all the time. But we have now made our last trip here.

Today was my first visit and I had the pulled pork sandwich combo today for lunch. It was really good and there was nothing left on that plate when I got done with it. Everyone there was very nice as well. I’ll be back to try the ribs and peach cobbler!

Had a somber start to the day burying a family member but the family wanted some home cooking and wanted to come here. I had never been but was open to a new experience and boy did they not let us down. The food was delicious and seasoned to perfection. Fried fish, cabbage, Mac-n-cheese, ribs, green beans, I mean a real spread. The owner came out to greet us and found out about what brought us there and turned on the karaoke machine and had us singing with joy for over a half hour. This place was more than just a good meal they felt like family. Needless to say I(we) will definitely be back and highly recommend it for others.
