Both the breakfast sandwich options and the attentive and very genuinely friendly people who work here deserve mention.
Fast service, many options, and cosy.
Good value. Very good value.
Wood framed windows, a few tables, and a long table and stools at the window, to watch the world outside and a general feeling of relaxation, and feeling comfortable in the space.
Of particular note, a steady stream of people grabbing “to go/take out.”
I also noted the cleanliness.
Visited 3X and it will be a “go to” from heron in.

Immaculate vibes and great great coffee. Love that they have an 8 oz option for lattes (I don’t need a cup of milk!). The beast sandwich I got was kind of a lot but overall think I just ordered wrong. Could spend all day here reading.

The best sandwiches and wraps. Dine in, take out, or delivered to you by Skip. Originated 9 years ago, the bistro has been under new ownership for the past 3 years. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Priced just right. Stop in for happy hour daily to purchase a 12-oz coffee for $2.50. I recommend this quick little lunch or breakfast stop for some tasty food.

For grabbing a quick sandwich and a coffee downtown, this is one of the best spots. Rise and grind has a fantastic selection of different sandwiches, great low prices, and super friendly staff. There is not a lot of seating within the location, which is their only downfall. Long lines during peak times, but it moves very quickly.

Great little spot with a nice, friendly vibe. Wonderful staff and a clean business. Good sandwiches, room for improvement on the bread selection, but happy and satisfied nonetheless. Definitely worth an espresso and a breaky or regular sandwich if you need something made with love.

very, very impressed. right off the bat, the person working the cash register was friendly and helpful. we ordered the dake fate and the chipotle chicken sandwiches, both their recommendations, as well as two hashbrowns patties, a chai latte, and a vanilla latte. all of the ingredients were fresh, the chai had a nice spice to it, and it wasn’t overly crowded but the service was notably quick. definitely the best food I’ve ever had from a cafe. will be returning the next time we’re in victoria !

Good breakfast for a fair price! Seating is limited but we went on a Thursday morning and were able to grab a table. The staff was lovely and very helpful with their recommendations.
