Growing up in an Italian household in Manhattan and watching “Mama” toss and make fresh pizza pies, I would give this place 0 stars if able for their pizza and cleanliness. They often have 6-7 pizza pies in their glass showcase and the Pizza often looks 7-8 hours old (or likely more) and it is never fresh, unless you specifically call and order for pick up. I have also witnessed multiple younger women behind the counter touching and serving pizza slices with no gloves on, while also not using proper utensils. Rather, they just grab your pizza slices with their bare hands, which is gross. It is very alarming to walk in this pizza shop at 11 am and find 5-6 plain pizza pies already on show in the glass case. You can easily tell that the pizza at 11:00 am is the leftover pizza they did not sell from the day before. The cheese is often solidified by 11 am which leads me to believe they are using “yesterdays” pizza pies that did not sell, which is also gross. “Joe and Vinny” oughta be embarrassed of what they sell here, as far as their Pizza goes. I would avoid this place for fresh pizza at all costs. I hope they start to use proper hand hygiene and I hope they start to serve fresh pizza 24-7. Avoid this place at all costs if you want walk in ‘fresh hot pizza.” If you like pizza that has been sitting out for hours upon hours with a quick re-heat, then this place is for you. God bless.

This is a really large pizza restaurant and quite impressive. Had order a lunch combo which came with two giant cheese slices and a large garden salad for under 10 bucks! Have to come back and order other menu items.

We’re asked a local person for a restaurant recommendation since we were from out of town. We were so pleasantly surprised! Magro’s food was fresh and delicious! Service was fantastic. The restaurant was nice and clean. I didn’t get a picture but the pizza was also huge. We will be back again

We live in Norwich ordered a large pizza, garlic knots, and a pepperoni roll for pickup. Upon getting the food home looking forward to a nice family meal the pizza was greasy and undercooked crust, garlic knots greasy and no taste of garlic, and the pepperoni roll- shaped like a calzone gushed grease when cut into and couldn’t be eaten. BIG disappointment. Never eat there again. Would not recommend.

I ate at this restaurant/ pizzeria. The food was average. I ordered two large pizzas add garlic knots and some dipping sauce for the nurses Norwich rehab nursing home. The dipping sauce was never sent with the driver and one of the pizzas wasn’t sliced. I wasn’t pleased, very unprofessional. I called them and complained about not receiving the dipping sauce and they said to remind them next time I place an order. I’m not from the area first of all and secondly I wasn’t planning on returning there again. I demanded my refunds for the sauces they did not ship. It took about 10 minutes but they finally gave in and returned a credit to my credit card.

I highly recommend. Garlic rolls and sauce are delicious. The wings that I had were very tasty and it came with an amazing blue cheese dressing. The cannoli was also very good as well as the pizza. We had the cheese pizza and also a slice of pineapple which came with a generous amount of topping.

I hate to ruffle feathers in the family but this location is without a doubt the best one in my opinion. Great atmosphere, always friendly and attentive staff, CONSISTENT, good options and delicious food. We haven’t had a sit down meal there in a while, so it’s due. Don’t disappoint!

This is a real bummer. Just threw raw onions and peppers on top of a cheese pizza. I order from magros alot, its usually our go to when ordering out. But this is crazy just throwing raw onions and peppers on pizza after the pizza is cooked. I know its not gonna be perfect everytime but sucks when its you spending your hard earned money and getting burned. Disappointing when you specifically order here for there pizza with onions and peppers. Lol I had left a 5 star review prior, but now i gotta change it.
