Absolutely terrible service on the evening of 12/6 at the Forum location. Wife came in and ordered two ENTREE sized of the chili Mac & cheese. Mind you they serve an entree and half size. The entree size is $9.99 and the half is $6. My wife was charged $21 for what you see in the picture (small glass used for scale). She asked the lady at the register and a guy in the kitchen. They both told her that the size they gave her was the ENTREE size and were indignant about it. All it takes is to look at Newk’s website to find a picture of the entree portion (attached). So not only did they lie about the size they gave her and charged her $21 for 2 cups of chili Mac. But they didn’t give a crap about it.
Buyer beware regarding this Newk’s at the Forum. Incredibly bad service on top of blatant lying.

I ordered a salad online to pick up at a specific time. When I arrived at my chosen time my salad was waiting. The bowl was cool to the touch and lettuces were fresh, so I know it had not been prepared too early. The cashier greeted me in a friendly manner and the kitchen staff gave me a nod and smile. The restaurant was busy yet I felt welcomed. Highly recommend

Every time I come to Newk’s, it is a great experience! The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated, the service is top notch, and the food is absolutely delicious! I have had soup, salad, and sandwiches, (yesterday I had all three!), and I look forward to working my way through the menu, one delicious meal at a time!

Items Ordered:
1. Newk’s “Q”: sandwich was extremely dry and overcooked! Lacked sauce and cheese. I couldn’t even see any cheese or sauce on the sandwich.
2. Newk’s Chicken Salad sandwich: it was tasty no complaints.
3. Green Goddess Salad: avocado was rotten. I picked them all off. The salad was prepared nicely with the exception of the rotten avocados. However, the salas dressing is bland. When I got home I added a little salt, lemon, and garlic and it was a hit.
4. Lobster Bisque: the flavor was amiss. The sherry and cream doesn’t compliment the soup.
The customer service wasn’t great. We were not greeted, the cashier didn’t engage with us given it was our first time in the restaurant. I felt like a new kid in school trying to figure out if It is self seating, self ordering, and etc. Management need to provide customer training to the front of the house staff.
Overall it’s not a bad restaurant, but it can be better.

We had lunch here on a Sunday around 1pm. Busy parking due to other stores, still found parking. Restaurant not busy at all, then started picking up as we were done w our meal. Lots of tables and big dining area. Cashier gives you a number and your order is brought to your table. Hubby ordered the chicken tortilla soup and macaroni & cheese. His soup was really good and flavorful. The mac & cheese a lil watery, but alright. I ordered the half soup/half salad; loaded potato soup…yum and Caesar salad…they did it right. We really enjoyed the food, and the space. I took off a star due to how long it took to get our order. Seemed unusually long for soup and salad. We’ll probably choose this place over Panera Bread next time.

Food was fresh and tasty! Music didnt fit the atmosphere. Heavy metal rock took away from the mood. I can appreciate the Big Hair Metal Bands but not in this atmosphere. Made me feel rushed and agitated.

Didn’t expect anything from the Newk, as we just wanted to have a quick bite. So we just ordered pizza, it was way much better than we thought. I took the spicy chocken pizza, it was really yummy especially the sprinkle of cilantro on it was special. They also carry kids’ food and I picked milk next to it. Will go there soon to try other food like salad, bowl stuffs as well!
