We arrived and saw no staff for a good 5-10 minutes. There was 1 lady waiting to get her pickup order and 1 set of people at another table. The waiter finally came out asked what we would like to drink and took our order and disappeared into the back for a hot minute he eventually came out with our food. We ordered the pimento fries, Cubana large and pizza pie o’ my and the cheese on the fries had done pasted up there was very little fries and with the cheese being pasted up most of the fries was bare the cheese was all in a sheet. My cubana was majority spicy mustard , I couldn’t find the cheese on it anywhere, there was a little bit of meat that didn’t taste well at all. The Pizza pie o’ my was so hard it chipped my friends tooth and the quality of that sandwich was poor. Neither of our sandwiches sat well. I asked the waiter for mustard that I had planned to use on the plain fries and he brought me ketchup and disappeared again. Between the wait and disappearing staff and the quality of the food we won’t be back. Our order was $41.20 which would have been a decent price if the food was good. Neither of us got through our sandwiches or the fries, I packed up the sandwiches as treats for my dogs (yes I’m going to clean off as much of the spicy mustard as I can first). The place has potential but it definitely needs a lot of work it was good in theory but not in reality. Hate it to but they going to have to make some changes if they wanna get their business up to survive.

Finally stopped in today and we were very happy with the meal.

Love the space, ambience and the super laid back nature that they operate with.

The Pork Ramen special was fantastic. Incredibly deep flavor in the stock, and the prosciutto garnish was great. The noodles used also had perfect chew. It doesn’t photograph well. lol

The Italian is massive and we got the small. Really enjoyed the fresh thick slice of mozz on it.

Also had the house made chips and hand cut fries. Both were cooked perfectly and properly salted.

My burger loving child gave the burger a 9/10.

Definitely worth the stop, but enjoy it and don’t be in a hurry. There’s a lot of good being done all by one person.

Finally tried for lunch. Service was a bit slow. Had to ring for someone to appear. I had the Philly cheese and husband had Italian ( both the small size) . Both were delicious.
Tomato bisque soup was thick and well spiced. Hand cut fries were delicious.
It was a turn off to have food served in takeout containers when we said we were eating there.
Perhaps service in plastic baskets with paper?

You: A person reading this thinking about eating at this restaurant and hungry.

Me: A person who has eaten at this restaurant almost a dozen times.

This place is incredible. It is our family’s favorite place to eat at, because it has some of the most unique and flavorful dishes in Princeton. I am a simple human, so the burger is always my go-to. You will *NOT* be disappointed by this burger, but will instead crave this burger and only this burger at times in the future. The Coffee-steak sandwich is something I never thought I would enjoy so much, but whatever you get I highly suggest a side of fries. These are cooked the right way. The way God intended a potato to be cooked, in the most blessed of oils, that of a peanut. I know at this point I must have sold you, and you are already trying to find your keys, so I’ll make the rest really quick:

Deserts: to die for
Dirty Alani: to live for
Truffle Oil French Fries: divine
Bacon Pimento Cheese Fries: decadent
Cubano: right
Birra’d Grilled Cheese: rapture

Never again! I saw the restaurant on my way to work and thought I would give it a try today for lunch. I ordered the burger and a side of pasta salad. That burger was still mooing. So I opened the pasta salad and took a couple of bites against my better judgement because it really didn’t look very good. I was trying to remove the meat that looked kinda greenish/black and found a WHOLE LOT OF MOLD!! Yes, mold. So I took the food back and asked for a refund. The cook came out and asked what was wrong and I showed her the pasta salad and she did apologize. But then I looked down at her hands and they were very nasty. She asked what was wrong with the burger and I told her it wasn’t done and she ROLLED HER EYES AT ME! I just pray that I don’t wind up sick.
Oh and it was $20!
If I could add a picture of the pasta salad, I definitely would, but I’m not tech savvy.

I rarely EVER say this, but…the food may be TOO good for the area. I have NOTHING negative to say about this place. I got two sandwiches: the Birria Grilled Cheese and the Fig and Morty. Both were, simply put, masterpieces. The flavors, textures, and portions were wonderful and the hand-cut fries were plain perfection. The chef..(I dont use that word lightly), is creative and talented. Anyone who has the opportunity, should do themsleves the favor of eating there.
