We made our first visit to Joe’s for lunch and we were very pleased! I had the steak finger platter with sweet potato fries. It came with white gravy and homemade roll. The steak fingers were fresh, not frozen, lightly battered and tender. The sweet potato fries were fresh made and well seasoned and tasty. My wife had a grilled chicken salad that was very large with house made ranch dressing! Delicious! Our drinks were filled without asking and the server was very good. We will be back! Our server was Ashlee…. Very good service.

LISTEN UP!!!! If you need a reason to visit Mexia then here it is. Joe Friday’s is the place to go. The moment we walked in it was awesome. The smell and the diner feel. Then the cutest young lady with her big smile just made us feel at home. We both had the chicken fried steak with mashed taters and there was nothing we could say bad about it. My wife even threw in the towel and said it was better than hers. That’s huge but I agree. So get down to Joe Friday’s and I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

It’s our first time here, we’ve been welcomed and served well I just did get her name. The food I had is one of their special for the day which is Spinach Artichoke pasta with chicken and toast was delicious, my husband had sandwich called Monte Cristo is also yummy, and my daughter had catfish basket which she also loved their only comment was fries was under seasoned and not presentable, probably you can tell by the pics. But we will for sure come back to try other menu because server was pretty good on checking on us. And the place is cool they have vintage signage around the dining area which we loved.

Great food and very reasonably priced! The burger was very good and the blackberry cobbler was also. Our server Chelsea was very friendly and responsive. Overall a very good experience and I would highly recommend.

Unique, retro environment and delicious food here! We stopped by today and my kids absolutely loved the decorations. Our waitress was very kind and took our order in a timely manner. I ordered the Monte Cristo and for the kids they had spaghetti and meatballs, and steak fingers. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and will definitely come back if we are in town. 10/10 would recommend!

Loved this place. We had the steak finger meal, the catfish and fried pickles. All were fantastic. The atmosphere was nice. The service was great. Our glasses never got below half. Our waitress was Abby and she was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend this place to anyone passing thru.

Surprised,This quiet but sweet place put the H in Humble ! Friendly waitress and very down to earth. We ate the Catfish basket which was truly great. Fresh and flavorful. MY WIFE and I definitely make a effort to go back soon.
