El Camino is definitely a gunner‘s little staple item. My kids have loved El Camino ever since they were children and now they’re all adults. We always get the salsa with the chips and the cheese dip to start. The sweet tea is really sweet and it’s great. You almost have to water it down. The margaritas are also really great. My daughter gets arroz con pollo, the fajitas are also really good, and the chimichanga is also really good service is always top-tier and the price is affordable.

Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Service and price was ridiculous. For a taco, tamale, cheese quesadilla and side of cheese and a dr pepper it was 30 bucks. When asked about price, the waiter and cashier was very rude. Apparently the pic below is 3.50! Ridiculous!

Phenomenal. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. I had the arroz con pollo. Very well seasoned, delicious sauce, tender chicken, well cooked rice. Staff was awesome and friendly. The restaurant itself has so much character and we enjoyed looking at all the beautifully set up decorations. Keep it up!

This has been our family Mexican restaurant for years! We drive 30 minutes each way just for it. The service is second to none, everyone is so friendly. Very kid-friendly! The food is always hot and fresh. We love it!

Visiting from Ohio and stopped for a late lunch with my husband and daughters. We were the only customers in the restaurant, which should have been a red flag. My husband and daughters developed food poisoning symptoms right about 20 hours after eating here. Stomach cramps, nausea, fever, diarrhea, and fever. They all vomited food that we had eaten at El Camino Real. The common things they ate was the lettuce and, sour cream, which i didn’t eat so im pretty confident that is what made them so sick. After throwing up over and over they have been so sick they couldn’t even leave our hotel room. Eating here has been a TERRIBLE experience and has ruined our last day in Scottsboro.

El Camino Real from the outside doesn’t look like much. However when you walk in it is beautiful. I love color and looking around at the atmosphere simply makes you happy and smile. The food was tasty and the staff was so friendly. My only complaint is that I don’t live closer.
