This place is great. I’ve eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Personally, I’m a brisket fan and always get the baked beans. My wife always gets the pulled pork. You might consider the menu limited, however, I consider it specialized. They are good at what they do. Make a trip over to Rushville and check it out!

Station 1883 is proof of the adage “do a few things but do them well”. Menu is limited but the food is outstanding. Large portions (many entrees could feed two) of flavorful food. I’ve tried the pulled pork nachos, brisket loaded hot chips, and the brisket sandwich and I would recommend them all. The interior has a unique firehouse theme. Prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly and fast. You can’t go wrong here.

The brisket tasted like lighter fluid and the coleslaw tasted like cabbage with mayonnaise. The waitress had no idea what liquor they had available. I asked if they had Hendricks gin and she just said she didn’t know and asked what I want to drink again

I thought the brisket sandwich was the bomb However, the waitress that was serving me was non communicative when I complimented the food. I left a Is dollar in some change for a tip.
I guess that tip was offensive to her because 3 weeks later which is today I go in to eat their food again and she tells me that it’s gonna be a while wait when there was nobody waiting to be served but I guess a party was coming in but that should have no bearing on me sit down waiting to be fed and eat their food whif they’re food which only serves to push potential patron pushed potential patrons away by such rude conduct and she was very rude Ooh when I admission toward that I could catch him on a rebound and she just ignored me as if What I said was nothing.

Love the pulled pork sandwiches, but the burger with everything on it remains to be my favorite thing there. Potatoes have a unique seasoning on them that’ll have you eating every last one!
