Was visiting Austin, and thought we try a Pho joint around here, so this place was the closest one to us. It was a weird set up, we had to order the food from the menu that was at the register, and then pay for it first, to dine in. Lmao. That was definitely the first for us! Large bowl was like a medium size compared to what other Pho restaurants serves. Pho broth was bland, no flavor at all, it only tastes good after I had asked if they had fish sauce and hot oil pepper sauce and added those in. The basil condiments came in a sandwich bag lol… for dine in?!!! Also, I must mention the service was ok, could be so much better, as I said, “hi” to the guy server (the one with black curly hair) he literally said nothing and looked at me while he placed our appetizers down. Well, I must say that this place is not authentic, and caters to more of the bland folks (if you know what I mean)… And next time we’re in town, we won’t be coming back. I’m sure there is a better pho place in Austin, we will just have to track one down! Come to the cities, if y’all want some REAL VIETNAMESE PHO!

Had lunch here today. The spring rolls were excellent!!! Also enjoyed the Pho with all the vegetables and hot pepper oil.
The owner was so sweet, stopping by our table to make sure we were happy. He even brought over a little treat. Will definitely return soon.

Same name, new owners, different recipes than before. The service is a lot better than under the previous ownership but the food doesn’t compare. Came in a week after they opened and a good portion of what was on the menu was no longer available, the fact that all but one vermicelli dish is not available was disheartening. The spring rolls are more of the size of traditional egg rolls compared to the previous owner’s larger spring rolls. May come back to try the pho.

Great! I knew we were coming to Austin for for the music festival for weeks and I also knew getting food from the food trucks or inside at the cafeteria would probably be taking a long long longgggg time so I looked around and I just happened to be craving vietnamese and this shop just happened to be very close to the school.
It was great, the staff was friendly, the sizes were huge despite me just getting a small and it tasted amazing. The only thing was probably the spring roll and the sauce was a bit tangy but it was fine all in all.
If I go to Austin again, I’ll definitely stop by again.

They have absolutely delicious and authentic pho. It is always fresh and piping hot and is one of the best pho restaurants I’ve been to anywhere in the US. It isn’t fancy but rather is simple, hearty and delicious. Service is always top notch as well, very fast and nice.

I couldn’t tell you if the food was good or not, we we’re in there for 1.5 hours and didn’t receive any food. Also it took them 30 minutes to even bring us our drinks, which they didn’t get right. You couldn’t tell if the soda was even what you ordered, and as a type 1 diabetic that’s pretty important so I’m not getting loaded with sugar. The waiter was very unpersonable and crouchy. Lastly there are no prices anywhere so you have no idea what your bill would be, if you ever got your food. Would not go back.

Service is bad, food takes forever even when ordering takeout, it’s not clean (garbage on the floor, bugs in the windowsill). Also there’s no music playing so it’s really quiet and awkward in there. There’s a loud buzzing (I’m guessing air conditioning or something) but no music. I haven’t even eaten yet and I’m writing this review. Not coming here again.

Food is not bad but service seriously lacking. I specifically asked for no cilantro. After a long wait, the waiter brings me the Pho with cilantro and ask me what he should do, then he goes “you can pick it out.” I said no. He hesitates and made it awkward and take the food back. We then asked for lime and he takes 2 tiny pieces out… haha no way bro
