Excited to have this new spot on the island! I am very picky with Mexican food since I grew up in San Diego where all of the best Mexican food was part of my every day “food” and the bar is set high!
We ordered beef nachos and a chicken burrito, and we were served chips & salsa while we waited for our order. HUGE kudos for this perk because in Baja California every Mexican restaurant greets you with chips, salsa, and water when you sit down to order!
Everything tasted so fresh – Hot fried tortilla chips, flavorful guacamole, real cheese sauce and the true test was the flavorful refried beans!!
We’ll definitely be back to see what Luke adds to the menu, but so far the basics are worth checking out.

Great little place to eat. Super friendly staff! We had chicken nachos and shrimp tacos. The rice was a little crunchy and mushy but tacos were great! The server who sat us (forgot to ask her name) it was her first night and she did such an amazing job!

We’re visiting Kauai and have had lots of Hawaiian food so we were craving some Mexican food and found this place online. So glad we did! Super yummy and authentic! Simple menu, cute patio and excellent service! Loved it!!

Went here for dinner with our party of 8. Chips were cooked up fresh for us and both the chips and salsa were delicious. Several of us ordered the chicken enchiladas, a few ordered the carne asada quesadillas, and one ordered the carnitas burrito. Everyone absolutely loved their food and we were super glad we stopped here. Thanks for a great meal.

Came in here for dinner, ordered tacos that came with beans and rice and a side of salsa. The red salsa that arrived with the chips was watery and tasted fermented. The side of beans tasted fermented. haven’t encountered such a thing before. Wasn’t sure it was safe to eat the beans and the salsa. The tacos were fine. Would not come back.

New, down to earth Mexican restaurant that hits all the marks. Luke and his staff helped our kids and us choose something they’d enjoy. Great atmosphere. The salsa and guacamole were freshly made – not the canned or pre batched stuff.
Highly recommend. We had bean and cheese burritos and the taco platter.

Stopped for lunch on our way to snorkel and my goodness was that the best decision. The chef (owner?) was incredible friendly when we walked in. We ordered both the tacos & quesadilla which were out of this world. The peppers & onions in the quesadilla were packed with flavor. We were given complementary fresh baked chips & salsa which was also fantastic. Finally, the outdoor seating area was comfortable & lively with music playing.
We are staying on the north shore in Princeville and might drive back down for another meal before we leave…that’s how delicious it was!

It was sooo good. Delicious and flavorful. We even learned a new recipe. The tacos were fresh. Enchiladas felt authentic. Phenomenal quesadillas, ate it super quick. Great habanero hot sauce. Would go again
