We drove all the way from Danville, VA for lunch on a Sunday and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious! Scrumptious! We ordered our food to go and did a taste test before we left; needless to say, we ended up ordering more food and dessert before leaving. Need a good meal, look no further, everybody is friendly & the food is amazing.

The food and the staff were excellent. Everyone was very friendly. The seating inside is limited but they do have seating outside. We ordered takeout and sat outside until our food was ready. Everything was delicious. We ordered fish, chicken, shrimp and our sides were Mac and cheese and collard greens with corn bread. Delish! Excellent portions for the price. I also had the homemade buttermilk pie and it was delicious too. Looking forward to my next visit to Chef O.B’s.

huge wings, prepared to order so super hot and fresh. sat outside on the picnic tables under umbrella and watched the world go by in uptown downtown milton nc.
need to come back and try the collards and mac n cheese. plates are super stuffed and great value for your money. located in the old milton post office. very friendly family joint, mom and dad work there along with some friends. cook came out, sat and talked for a bit. they’ll even sing for you if you ask nicely. SANITATION SCORE – A 100%

Wanted to get a late night bite to eat and they were actually closed. They invited us in anyway and made us a big batch of wings that were delicious!

Excellent spot to eat in downtown Milton. Super generous portion sizes – and flavor was top shelf. We had fish sandwich, Philly cheesesteak, spicy garlic wings, and fried chicken plate. Enjoyed them all!

Everything is made with love and freshness. Thevstaff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Its smallbfor an eat in restaurant, and they do a lot of catering and take out. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for, and it’s worth every penny. Simply amazing!!

We love to support local, Black-owned businesses, and this one is worth the drive to a quaint, historic town on NC/VA border!
Chef O.B. greeted us, took our lunch order, and ran our credit; but his father cut the honeybun cake, which his mother cooked.
Others prepared, in the open kitchen, our fried chicken and fried fish (Whiting) plates that were generous, piping hot, and quite delicious. Enough to take home for supper, we couldn’t resist the honeybun cake to add to the home-cooked, traditional sides of collard greens, macaroni and cheese, cornbread right out of the oven, and iced tea refills.

Best fried chicken you will ever have. It’s only wings but don’t worry they are meaty. Everything authentic southern cooking here. Can’t wait to come back someday when we visit VIR.
