Great food and the service is always awesome! We love the salsa bar and love that they don’t charge for chips like so many other restaurants do. Javier’s is one of our go-to restaurants!

Good atmosphere and the service we got from Octavio (sp?) was great, unfortunately the food was not impressive. The Chile relleno was pretty good, but it tasted freezer burned. The salsa bar is a good idea, but most of the salsas were out. The smothered chicken burrito was a good size but the chicken was tough. And the prices were high for what you get. *if you liked my review or found it to be helpful give it a thumbs up thanks! And follow me on Google Maps for more reviews, thanks!

This is our go-to place when we want a nearby sit-down dinner getaway for great Mexican food, quick seating, and a place where we can talk and enjoy each other’s company. We’ve been going here for many years now and love the staff. Highly recommended!

We visit Javier’s often. Always warm welcomes, great food! A true family operation with love and care in everything they do! I support this restaurant and so should you!

First time at this location. Usually frequent the spots in Ogden and Layton. Javier’s food is always solid. Service was slow and inattentive at this location, though. Even when the restaurant was mostly empty. Probably won’t come back to this one.

We love going to Javier’s to eat and we usually dine in. This time we ordered to go and asked for a side of pico. They told my husband that it would be $5. He thought that it was crazy but if it is a lot of pico then it was fine. He got to the car and looked in the bag and it was a small cup of pico. He went back in and talked to the manager to get his money back and they wouldn’t do it. It’s just crazy the amount of money they charged for a tiny side of pico, and the way the treated my husband.

The food is reasonably priced for the portion sizes — especially their lunch items — and it’s in a convenient location and service is great, but the food is really anything but authentic.
My biggest complaint is that the food is way too salty. My husband’s biggest complaint is that their verde sauce isn’t green at all — instead it is bright yellow-orange — although it tastes ok.
For a family-friendly basic American-style Mexican restaurant, it’s worth a stop. But if you’re really looking for authentic food, you may want to keep looking.

This was my first time here and I wasn’t disappointed. We did come during lunch so it wasn’t very busy so the service was fantastic! I haven’t had a quesadilla like the rancho quesadilla. The tortilla was cooked perfectly and the chicken was fantastic! The beans and rice were always really good. I think the biggest downside was the salsa, wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t that bad either. Recommend this place at least for lunch!

The food was good, but the service was better. It was a nice place to go once. I don’t have any intention of returning. There’s better food options.
