During our stay at the resort, we had the chance to visit Copa Loca, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip when it came to casual dining. From the moment we walked up, the laid-back tropical atmosphere and open-air design invited us to relax and enjoy ourselves. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re truly on vacation—with poolside views, palm trees swaying, and the hum of happy guests all around.
We sampled quite a bit off the menu, but two items really stood out: the shrimp bowl and the pizza.
The shrimp bowl was bursting with flavor—tender shrimp cooked just right, nestled over a bed of seasoned rice with fresh veggies, avocado, and a tangy, zesty sauce that tied everything together perfectly. It had a bold, refreshing taste that felt light but satisfying, ideal for a sunny Florida day.
The pizza surprised us with how good it was for a resort bar—it had a crispy, golden crust with just the right amount of chew, a generous helping of gooey mozzarella, and toppings that tasted fresh and well-balanced. It was big enough to share, but so good we nearly polished it off ourselves.
We also enjoyed a few rounds of tropical cocktails—everything from frozen piña coladas to rum punches. The drinks were strong but smooth, well-mixed, and served quickly. They hit the spot after a long day of exploring or lounging by the pool. The staff was upbeat and friendly, happy to make recommendations and ensure everyone was having a good time.
The only thing that fell short—and really the only reason I’m not giving five stars—was the early closing time. For a spot with such great food, drinks, and ambiance, it was disappointing that Copa Loca closes at 9:00 PM. Being inside a resort where guests often get back late from parks, excursions, or other evening activities, we expected it to stay open later, maybe until 10 or 11. By the time we were ready to grab a late-night snack or nightcap, the lights were already out.
That said, the quality of the food and drinks, the friendly service, and the fun atmosphere more than made up for the early close. We really enjoyed our time at Copa Loca and wouldn’t hesitate to come back—it’s a great place to kick back, soak in the resort vibes, and enjoy a satisfying meal.

Always good food , good drinks and good service every time I go. The tacos are always fresh and fries are crispy. The bbq brisket sandwich is awesome with pimento cheese spread on it. They always have good cold pina coladas and local Florida beers on tap.

A super busy place and finding a seat is difficult. If you can get a reservation do it. Our food was delicious and the views were beautiful. We dined just before the sunset. Once the sunset, it was more beautiful.

Amazing food on property but Zee the server was extremely rude and makes you feel very unwelcomed. Other than that, the Copa is the best, but the Asian lady needs to reconsider a different position, something not facing the guest. Since guests are a problem for her. If you see her, ask for someone else.

This weekend we stayed at the resort to celebrate my daughter’s 4th birthday. We had a cabana by the pool for the weekend and ate Copa Loca poolside multiple times. The cocktails, the ahi tuna bowl, the nachos, everything we ordered was fantastic. The drinks were incredible also! The service was next level. Melissa was an absolute angel. She was so attentive all weekend and made us feel so special! We came to that pool each day just to see her! Thank you for making our entire weekend magical!

Excellent food a drinks at the Marriot. Enjoy the pool and hottubs while having a drinks and some excellent food. Staff is always friendly and service is great. Most major sports are on the TVs and lots of activites for adults and kids to do.

Food was fine, but the service was very warm, kind and funny. Nice patio overlooking the pool and less frat bro feeling than the other pool bar. Must deal with children, but it’s a tradeoff. Warning: if there’s lightning they’ll shut it down right quick.

The kid’s grilled cheese sandwich tasted as if the cheese had gone bad and they just ate the bread part. My classic burger with requested “no lettuce “ with Caesar salad arrive with French fries not Caesar salad and not only No lettuce but also no tomato and no bacon. By the time I got the burger done properly everyone else had finished their meals. Our server Jesse S never offered and apology himself just said ok will fix it, but another kind man came full of apology and made sure everything became right checking on me several times and also didn’t charge for my plate. The burger was good.
