The staff is extremely friendly and food is absolutely delicious. We had great conversation with the staff. This was my fourth visit here and none of them have ever disappointed me. I am posting pictures of the blackened salmon, key lime pie with raspberry syrup, whiskey sour, and creme brulee. The whiskey sours are always dreamy. I’ve tasted other local creme brulees and I believe theirs is the best.

it was our first time coming to cape fear and we had such a great time! we made reservations ahead of time and upon arrival, we were greeted and taken to our seats quickly. the restaurant is beautiful and has a warm and inviting decor.
we ordered quite a bit of food. for appetizers, we ordered the mini crab cakes and a cup of roasted red pepper and crab bisque. both were delicious and had a good crab flavor.
for mains i got the special, riviera lemon scallop pasta, and the chicken jarrett. my pasta dish was perfect. super buttery and lemony pasta with perfectly seared and most scallops. the chicken jarrett was just as good! the chicken was moist and well seasoned. the risotto, goat cheese, and asparagus was delicious.
we ended our meal with creme brûlée which was amazing! super creamy with a crunchy sugar topping.
we had such a great experience and our meal was great. all the staff we had was super friendly and professional. we’ll definitely be back!

Lunch was a a bit underwhelming. Looked like my mini crab cake was left in the pan a tad too long. The char affected the flavor. I couldn’t eat it. Portion size on my platter was decent.

We love this place amazing food and amazing staff, clean, welcoming environment. Food is delivered to your table fresh, hot and delicious. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, you may have to park away from the entrance but it worth the short walk.

If you’re trying to decide to eat here, DO IT! I would recommend a reservation just because it seemed quite busy when we went 7pm on a Saturday. We got the sweet and spicy shrimp as an appetizer, AMAZING! I got the shrimp diablo, it was very robust, not too spicy, great flavor! Others dining with me had the calabash platter and the whole boat. Everything was great. Absolutely no complaints about anything we ordered. They also had spicy honey margaritas on special, 10/10 recommend

The photo you see was actually the best of the three and the reason this is not a one star rating. The flounder was truly the best I have ever tasted and perfectly cooked, not greasy but flaky …perfect.
Two other items were Fisherman’s Pasta, and broiled seafood platter.
Fish was very fishy tasting..overpowered, the shrimp was tough and very overcooked..not good at all. The flounder was worth the price and well portioned but the two other items, the portions were very small for the price and just not worth it.

We have been here several times. Service was always good until tonight. Stephanie B was more concerned about tending bar than waiting on our table. Never came back for tea refill. Walked by table several times without even looking at our table to see if we might possibly need anything or ask if we needed anything . I had to go upfront to ask for our check. Said the service was the worst service we have ever had. She said can we do anything to make it right but didn’t even offer refund or gift card for next visit. Portions when we first started going were going were generous. Now portions are half size and still same or higher price. We will not go here again. It was a Sunday night and restaurant was not even busy. Only about 6 tables with people.

My server Hannah was amazing! All of the staff that I encountered was amazing! It’s nice to see a business that actually provides great customer service which is rare these days. I got the Watermelon margarita that Hannah made. It was delicious! The jambalaya was a tad sweet for my liking but it was still good. The fish was hot and fresh!
