Absolutely loved this spot! We got free drinks included with our basket boat tour. The basket boats were so fun and so nice not to be hassled. No pressure at all here. Food was a surprise how good it was. We got a pizza and the Vietnamese pancake- both were outstanding. Better than a lot of pizza Ive had back home in the states. Highly recommend for basket boats and/or food!

My family of 5 visited Da Nang today morning fod the first time. We arrived in Ho Chi Minh city , Vietnam 2 days ago. Our daughter told us Basket Boating was not to be missed , she suggested The Basket boat Cafe to be the best in Hoi An. I must say ms. Thanh our hostess who took care of us was a cheerful and wonderful person who took very good care of our family from the time we arrived. We hired 3 Basket boats as they seat 2 per boat, our daughter went separately. It was indeed an amazing experience. Add to it our daughter wanted a spinning basket boat experience too, Ms. Thanh informed us a separate boat was needed and it would be arranged. As we started their photographer took pics of us on return we selected two as memory. Both the boat rides were fabulous and our daughter was thrilled. All the boat men were good and one was very young and friendly cracking jokes too. After a 40 minute enjoyable the spinning ride like a roller coaster. We returned and we’re offered complimentary drinks from their menu, we took fresh mango and orange juice, coconut water and 2 vietnamese beers. A fabulous finish indeed. The atmosphere was lovely, we didn’t eat anything as we just had a fantastic lunch at the beach seafood restaurant. Overall an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Hoi An. We paid 150,000 per head all inclusive. Plus 100,000 for each pic wrapped beautifulĺy in a frame. Tips extra to boat men your choice. This coffee shop was recommended on TikTok, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The staff are not pushy at all, which made the experience really relaxing. For only 150,000 VND, you get drinks plus the coconut boat tour, which is great value. The spinning boat experience is optional and costs an extra 100,000 VND per person if you want to try it. What a lovely surprise. Super friendly people who actually make you feel welcome from the first minute, not the “tourist welcome smile,” but the real one. The basket boat ride is great fun and costs 300,000 VND for two people – coffee included, which already feels like a good deal. And then comes the plot twist: they now have an Italian chef. Yes, an Italian chef. I did not expect to eat a genuinely delicious lasagne here, but it was excellent. Add proper Vietnamese coffee, relaxed vibes, and warm hospitality, and you suddenly stay much longer than planned. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the boat tour and it goes through a calm scenic coconut channels before it gets to the more chaotic part with spinning and karaoke.
Was originally gonna give them 5 stars but docking a star because I wasn’t offered the free drink with the 150k paid. I didn’t even know about it until I came here to write a google review. Upon clarification with them on WhatsApp, they said that you get a free drink per person if you come in a group of 2 and more, but no free drinks if you’re coming alone. Erm ok? Lol how does that make sense when you’re still paying a ticket per person.

– politely turn down all the locals along the way trying to hustle you to a boat
– at the Cafe, get a table and let the waiter or host that you want to rent a boat
– 150K per person and it comes with a drink
– there is a photographer that will take your group Pic, only 100K each, its worth it.

Had a great experience here! The tall, slim guy with glasses who works at the café was very knowledgeable and friendly — he gave us really helpful advice and made the visit even better.
The free drink included in the package was a nice touch. The basket boat ride lasted around 40 minutes and came with amazing views and fun entertainment along the way.

Amazing and helpful staff. 150k for the boat trip and a drink included. Straight forward and easy. 100k extra if you want your photos printed and a digital copy too, but not hassled to buy if you don’t want. Boat guys are super funny and just a great 40 minutes of laughter. If you want to buy food and drinks on the water you can, and karaoke and boat spinning too at extra costs. We tipped of boat captain 100k. Best place to do it.
