Welcome to Sushi Gallery! Established in 2012 as the first Korean/Japanese Restaurant in Madison Heights, Michigan. We offer Japanese classics such as Pork/Chicken Katsu and Korean mainstays such as Bulgogi Bibimbap. And of course, our main specialty, Sushi!

Sushi Gallery is a genuine local asset—fresh fish, fair pricing, and friendly pace. It’s not trying to be a white-tablecloth destination; it’s trying to be reliably good, and it succeeds. If you see me there too often, just mind your business and let me have my spicy tuna in peace.
I walked in expecting a reliable neighborhood spot and walked out knowing I will be back. Sushi Gallery punches way above its weight on freshness and balance. The fish-to-rice ratio on the nigiri is generous without feeling showy. If you’re testing a place for the first time, start there: salmon and tuna were clean, bright, and cut with care. From the roll side, the Spicy Salmon is a sleeper—simple, well-rounded heat—and the Dragon Roll is exactly what you want it to be: textural, a little indulgent, and crowd-pleasing. The place seems to be family owned which is always great to support.

Truly phenomenal experience. Relaxing, enjoyable and it looked like family owned and operated. The three sushi rolls we got were top tier, as were the dumplings and edamame. Come check this place out, remember it’s a mom and pop kinda spot and we want to keep those around, and enjoy a great meal!

Awesome service and food! The cherry blossom roll was delicious. Food came out within ≈10min and I got a miso soup free of charge! I was the only person dining in so it was nice and quiet. There was only 1 server, but he was very friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Sushi Gallery. This is a true mom-and-pop gem with excellent service, incredibly fresh seafood made into consistently delicious sushi. The restaurant is spotless and welcoming, and you can truly feel the care that goes into everything they do.
The chef and owner is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their work. While his wife is just as wonderful, always providing kind, warm, and welcoming service. Together, they make every visit feel personal and thoughtful. This is the only place I truly trust for fresh sushi, and as a pregnant woman craving sushi, my husband and I happily drive out of our way to come here.
We’ve been loyal customers for a year, visiting three times this month, and we’ll continue to come back. In a sea of trendy new spots, this place stands out and it feels like home. You can tell the food is made with love by people who truly love what they do. This restaurant deserves so much more recognition. I highly recommend Sushi Gallery!

The people who run this restaurant are sweet and kind. I remember on one hot day when I was picking up an order they offered me as much cold water as I could drink while I waited. I love the food, especially the Philly rolls. I love how they make them. The balance of salmon, cream cheese and avocado is PERFECT.

DELICIOUS! My husband and I dined in one time and it was great. We were the only two in there which made us skeptical but the sushi was SO good. Now if we get sushi take out we get it from here! Hands down terrific hole in the wall sushi place. Give it a try. The staff is very friendly as well!

First time visiting Sushi Gallery. Both husband and wife were very nice and the service was great. We ordered a few rolls and the were awesome. Would definitely recommend this quaint mom and pop sushi if you want great service and food. Will def go back again.
