We don’t have Lee’s where I live, and I love to get it when I come to town. I put in a large order on the app, and it was one of the smoothest experiences I’ve had with ordering and pickup. Everything was ready, everything was accurate, and the cashier was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as usual.

Everytime we ordered for pick up or delivery the chicken is old and dry. The Mac and cheese is old and dry as well. One time my husband walked in the store to order. The food was fresh and hot. The Mac and cheese was delicious and creamy. I would not recommend ordering from here unless you go inside and order your food.

I have always loved Lee’s Famous Recipe! I had to try the Chicken Sandwich Combo. I got the spicy sandwich, and the spice is not bad. The potato wedges are great, as always.
UPDATE:. March 18, 2022- No, things have not changed. They still offer the same great food. I ordered a 2 piece Classic Meal with a biscuit, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cole slaw and Diet Pepsi. It was great! Unfortunately, you still can’t dine in, and I think they need people to work. Also, like everything else, prices have gone up.
UPDATE:. September 29, 2022-It has changed. You can dine in now, but there wasn’t any one in there when I went to pick up my meal. Everyone was using the drive thru. The food is still delicious. I had the 2 piece combo with chicken leg, breast, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Cole Slaw, Biscuit, and Diet Pepsi. It was great. I have had it before, and will have it again.
UPDATE: May 22, 2023-I ordered on the app and got a two piece combo with chicken leg, wing, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans, Biscuit, and Diet Pepsi. Still delicious. Unfortunately, there was one man sitting in there eating. Others were going through the drive thru or ordering on the app, or catering. They are still needing people to work there. I hope they don’t go out of business like O’Charley’s.
UPDATE: June 6, 2023-I redeemed my free meal reward from the app. I got two Spicy Chicken Strips, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans, Biscuit, and Diet Pepsi, along with Honey Mustard sauce. The only thing I paid for was the drink. It was all delicious! It is well worth it to have the app. One orders 7 times, and then one gets a free meal.
UPDATE: July 31, 2023- I tried their new Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich, and it was messy, but delicious. The sauce was great. The Potato Wedges were delicious. I do not know if it was a limited time only item, so I don’t know if they will continue to have it on the menu or not.
UPDATE: November 4, 2023-I ordered the 2 Piece Chicken Strips meal with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Cole Slaw, a Biscuit, and Diet Pepsi. When I got home, I was in for a surprise. Instead of getting 2 strips, I got 5 strips! Obviously this was more than I can eat, so I wasn’t going to return them. Instead, I kept them for another time, then I took them to my parents to have. My Mom was pleased when she got them, and it was her birthday!
UPDATE: March 23, 2024-I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, along with Potato Wedges and Diet Pepsi from the new app. It is always delicious and worth it to order again.
UPDATE: November 5, 2024-I ordered the 2 pc Chicken Meal, with a chicken breast and chicken leg, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Potato Wedges, Biscuit, and a Diet Pepsi. The whole meal was delicious, but can someone tell me why they have to charge $1.50 in order to have a chicken breast?
UPDATE: April 11, 2025-I ordered a 2 piece Chicken Meal with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Cole Slaw, Biscuit, and a Diet Pepsi. I also got a free Dessert for my birthday, so I got a free Apple Pie. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture of the Apple Pie. But the whole meal was a delicious birthday meal

Spent over $40 for 2 people. The drive thru couldn’t even be bothered to hand us utensils! Thought we would enjoy it at the park, had to drive it all the way home just to eat! Can’t comment on the food, it will be cold by the time we actually get to eat it. Also, this would have been my first time even trying their food

Unfortunately I had my 3 great grandkids with me which made ordering slow…. BUT I ordered 3 tenders… one for each child & I wanted some chicken for the adults…. I ever l ended up with only ONE order of chicken tenders & 8 extra pieces of fried chicken…. so 2 of the great grand kids DIDN’T get their chicken tenders!!

I recently visited after cycling across the state from Terre Haute and checking into a nearby hotel. I got takeout, 3 piece, with green beans, mashed potatoes, as the sides. Chicken, it wasn’t super crisp, but then I did take it in a box and drive several miles to the hotel, etc. Tasty though, and I ate every bit of it. I’m not sure how the chicken supply chain works, and I am not a frequent customer at fried chicken places, but the chicken pieces were quite a bit smaller than expected. When I buy chicken in the grocery store, it seems they’re mega-chickens. Not sure why these were so small. Mashed potatoes and gravy? Meh, neither great nor bad. Green Beans? Unexpectedly great, salty, porky, and really delicious. I’d come back, but I’d need to get a half chicken if I were as hungry, and I didn’t see that on the menu (a 4 piece with leg,thigh, breast, wing)
