The food is amazing! As you can see, we couldn’t even take a picture because we were too excited about the food but we did get a picture of our fantastic dessert! We ordered Khao Soi, which is my absolute favorite because it’s a signature dish from Northern Thailand. I’m from Chiang Mai, and I would 100% recommend it (you can choose the spice level). The owner and her team are incredible and so friendly.

Thai restaurants have become quite popular everywhere not just in Colorado. Anchan is the latest addition to Longmont. I found the service was warm and efficient. The restaurant was quiet and easy to conduct a conversation. In my opinion the food was only average but still worth a return.

Got into Longmont late and Anchan Thai was right next to my hotel. There were a lot of chain options around, but we opted for the little guy. Excellent choice! The food was delicious and presented beautifully. We ordered spring rolls which were presented beautifully. I ordered Yum Woon Sen salad which had glass noodles, fresh veggies, ground chicken and peanuts. I also added shrimp. It was tossed in this amazing lime sauce that was bright and flavorful. Our server was very sweet and attentive. It was the great end to a big spent at RMNP.

Impeccable Thai cuisine, a rare find in this part of Colorado. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and gives you the sense of tranquility, simple yet elegant decorative pieces throughout. That translates directly to every dish, authentic taste (that definitely helps me less homesick!) and beautifully presented.
Our server was very attentive and polite yet friendly, we also had the pleasure of Annie (the owner) visiting our table for a little chat, very charming lady! You can tell she puts her heart into every detail.
If you’re craving for highly authentic Thai dishes, look no further and go!
Save some room for dessert as well 🙂 their Anchan ice cream is delicious both for your eyes and your tummy!

SUGAR is in the Ton Kha. I’m diabetic & should not have that Waitress was a bit rude about it, “were not changing our recipe.” Tov which I replied that I wasn’t asking for that – only my bowl. The pea tea didn’t taste like anything. The fish cakes were a bit rubbery. Presentation was artistic.

This place has some absolutely amazing Thai food. We came here tonight and I got the pad woon sen, the noodles were absolutely perfect, the veggies were super fresh and stir fried to perfection, and the sauce was just right. Normally I get the tom kha, which is one of the best I have ever had. We were seated very quickly in comfortable booths with individual cushions, and we were brought water in authentic Thai metal cups with our own serving pitcher. The food came out very fast and I could tell it was prepared individually and fresh per order and not served off a hot line. The staff was also very attentive and kind and made the dining experience a joy. Overall a wonderful little place to get some of the best Thai food in Longmont.

Always my go-to whenever I’m on-site for work. Their drunken noodles have real wok hei, rich aroma, and perfectly marinated beef. So good every time.

We’ve never had Northern style Thai food so this was an interesting experience!
Items we ordered (as of 6/2025):
– Cream cheese wontons – $8.99 – Not bad although the wonton itself was thicker than expected.
– Pad Thai (with chicken) – $15.99 – While it’s not the typical Pad Thai I’ve had in the past (the sauce is different), I must say that I still enjoyed it. Chicken was great as it wasn’t overcooked (and thus not dry). I got no spice but for future reference, some spice would really add to this dish!
– Drunken Noodle (with seafood) – $16.99 + $6 – We thought this dish was okay. The sauce was more watery than expected but the seafood and noodles were cooked perfectly. Despite ordering a spice level of 5, we were surprised as to how non-spicy it was only to find out when the bill came that it was mistakenly entered as a spice level of 2. Fortunately the spice condiments available to us helped in adding a sufficient level of spice!
– Sweet and Spicy Tamarind Ribs – $17.99 – This was the highlight of our meal! Meat was crisp and cooked perfectly and you can really taste the spice in this dish (yay)!. If you like the taste of tamarind then you will 100% enjoy this dish. Would highly recommend.
The decor was unique and we really enjoyed the ambiance this place offered! If you like Thai food then make sure to give this place a try!
