The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was fantastic. Half chicken platter was also delicious. As for dessert peanut butter pie was pretty damn good. First time coming here. Traveling for the holidays and was impressed with my experience.

Went to Adam’s Ribs for dinner last week since it was on the way home. The place was busy on a Wednesday night. The restaurant looked like a log cabin, a bit dated and dark but quite cozy. I wanted to love the food so much, but it was inconsistent and the preparation took over an hour. We loved the house salad with spring greens, carrots, cucumbers, goat cheese, and dried cranberries. They let us try both the French dressing and balsamic vinaigrette which was nice. The crab dip was the highlight. Fresh and delicate crab meat with cheese and cream and warm bread. Took a really long time but definitely worth it. The rib platter with fries and Mac and cheese was a little bit of a letdown. The barbecue sauce was nice, but the meat was a little dry. Great char and perfectly smoky but it dried out the meat a little bit. The fries were okay and the Mac and cheese was completely forgettable, tasting like it came out of a box. Service was another highlight. Our server kept us informed and was apologetic for the delay. Despite the issues, I’d definitely go back and try their ribs again and maybe some of the specials (catfish, stuffed flounder, fried chicken) we see when driving past their location.

We visited on a cold, rainy Sunday afternoon and were seated near a nice fire going in the old stone fireplace. The bar at the back is so quaint and comfortable, it invites you to come have a drink.
I had big chicken tenders rolled in buffalo sauce, Janie had a half rack of ribs, Katy & Catherine & Patty had big crocks of French onion soup and salads, and Ronnie had a big burger and French fries.
It should be way busier! Skip the lines at the chain restaurants and go get some quality LOCAL food at Adam’s Ribs.

Super cozy, friendly, accommodating, delicious restaurant! Our server was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful with our request. We didn’t mind the upcharge, but some places act funny even if you ask for substitutions when you’re willing to pay extra. Our meal was delicious! And it was nice that they have two fireplaces so we weren’t freezing.

Went on the fried chicken special night. Chicken was very tasty. Weird thing happened though, there were three of us dinning and one person received their meal almost 10 minutes before our other two. When we did receive our meal chicken was more cool than hot. Granted that’s a pretty popular special but would expect meals to arrive at the same time and warmer. In any case the chicken was good as well as all the sides. Recommended.

Fast friendly service. Dont get the chicken sandwich though. Sauce was good but chicken had a rubbery texture and dry. Not a fan! The pulled pork and bacon wrapped scallops were good. They could use some new chairs in the dining area. Not too comfortable to sit in for an extended time but is a nice place to grab a meal with the family after being at the beach.

I’m sorry I am a chump for restaurants with checkerboard table cloths and tables with coasters and napkins under the table legs that serve good food for a good value. Looks like ribs and chicken is the speciality but had the Brisket sandwich with bourbon sauce and was not disappointed. Service was quick and efficient and overall it was a good experience.
UDATE Went back a few days later for a rack of ribs. Fall off the bone good. Had the whole rack. It did not disappoint.

Worst food ever! They should be forced to remove the logo because their food is nothing like anything else in the franchise. I have been to many other Adams and the food was always excellent this food was disgusting and the bartender didn’t even know how to make a Moscow Mule .

Service was spot on. Mozzarella sicks appetizer was served cold. Medium burger was well done and then some. Kids hot dog meal was spot in. Fries piping hot and yummy. Frigid cold and gloomy like a cave. Place is dying for a renovation, lots of potential.
