My food took longer than expected, I ordered carne asada and the wife ordered tamales. Her food came out steaming hot my food was cold. I thought for sure we were waiting for the steak to cook, wrong. Salsa was great food not so much. Only 3 tables no more that 3 people per table.

The food and alcohol is always really good, but the thick girl with all the eyeliner don’t listen. Screwed up my order 3 times and I finally got tired of waiting and left with brisket tacos instead of carnitas. Love the food and haven’t had many bad experiences here but that was ridiculous

Wanted a flavored margarita, tasted like no alcohol at all. Menu had looked good, but a little pricey for small town restaurant. When we complained, mgr said it was made correct and no we won’t do anything. Will never go back, did ‘ot try the food after this fiasco.

The servers were kind, however the food and overall experience was not good. Although this is a Mexican or “Tex-Mex” restaurant, it is no where near authentic. Additionally, the tacos were a rip off. There was hardly any meat in any of our the tacos (as seen in the photo) and the rest of my family said their menudo had little to no flavor. Also, the service was extremely slow. After the owner asked us how our experience was and we explained what we didn’t like, he just listened and didn’t do anything. We paid full price for everything. Note: if you’re going to charge $12 for 3 MINI-tacos (with very little meat) and a side of rice and beans, at least add more meat.

When inside and one the staff told us to sit anywhere we wanted. It was around 7pm. Waitress was very quick and very nice. Brought our drinks without waiting awhile. They wait on the food was Very long. Like 30 mins. Wasn’t busy at all, maybe 10 customers at the most. Food was OK. The enchiladas and flour tortillas were pretty good. Beans ok. Good tea. The waitress made multiple trips to ask if we needed anything.

Rare gem in GBC and all of Cedar Creek area! Been looking for good Mexican food here for the last 2 months since relocating from the Coast——and I finally found it! The only thing that topped the hot chicharones and enchiladas was the top notch service! Can’t wait to come back and try the Tamarindo Margarita!
