I visited here for the first time on a certain day in October.
We ordered a Triple Chocolate Shake and a Bnana Royale.
Those were very delicious.
The staffs were very kind and helpful.
They served pumpkin chiffon cakes for free !

I absolutely love Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store. This is my go-to spot for chocolate milkshakes and the peanut butter chocolate sundaes—they are so good every single time. Rich, creamy, and perfectly made, it’s the kind of treat you genuinely look forward to.
The place is always impressively clean. The tables are spotless—honestly, you could eat off the floor. That attention to detail makes the whole experience even better.
This is also a special place for my family and me. We come here to play chess together and often reserve it for special occasions. It’s comfortable, welcoming, and feels like somewhere you can slow down and enjoy being together.

Just happened to be in town trying a highly rated Chicago/Greek grill and naturally on a Friday night out with the family, a dessert option always follows.
First time trying this location and only the 2nd ever after the Gurnee location which is closest to my house. I would have to say that Oberweis is truly my all-time favorite ice cream.
Oberweis isn’t alone and there’s other high-end venues whether franchise or local with the likes of Cold Stone, Graeter’s and around here parlors carrying Chocolate Shoppe, Capannari, Cedar Crest ice cream, etc.
Been around to quite a few ice cream, fro-yo, fro-cust and gelato shops but in the end, Oberweis remains at the top when it comes to frozen treats for me.
Always a delightful experience dining in the “O” and enjoying world class ice cream. No they’re not cheap but then again what is anymore. My boys are well worth anytime they’re in the mood.
Venue is kept spiffy clean, friendly customer service, prices are still reasonable for superior quality ice cream and may God bless the Oberweis family always.

First time I had a cake from oberweis I became a fan. It’s actually cake and ice cream paired wel and taste great so while I visit my family in Volo decided to stop in for the first time.
Staff was wonderful. Jacob who was working, explained the products. I explained I was coming in from Indy and had a cooler with me just to take a cake back home with me. He was helpful and the staff were even kind enough to help me fill my cooler with ice so my delicious treat would stay chilled and frozen in my drive back to Indianapolis. Will stop here again.

Coffee Ice cream was perfect. Smooth, creamy, perfectly flavored.
Banana chocolate chip however tasted like vanilla ice cream with no banana flavor. We travel far and wide for my husband to get banana ice cream and they did not deliver. I can’t stand banana anything and I couldn’t taste banana so it was indeed pale. We asked the staff to make sure we didn’t just get chocolate chip and they said that was indeed their banana. Staff was nice. Site was clean. I’ll be back with different company.

Oberweis has delicious rich flavorful ice cream with a regular recipe rotation. Staff is helpful and they are flexible with tasting. Chessboards on tables help keep kids occupied and let everyone have fun.
