Every town needs a super boujee restaurant for times you want to dress up fancy or celebrate a special occasion, and for Foley, Alabama, Local & Company Food+Drink is that place. Located on North McKenzie Street/Hwy 59, let’s start with getting reservations. You may not need them, but if you do, they’re super easy to get. They’re happy to work with any size dining party. I remember when the Armory building was an antique mall. They kept the concrete block, high ceilings, and metal beams when they completely remodeled everything. What a stunning restaurant experience they have created. Reclaimed woods, glass, leather, metal, resin, deep blue colors, fine linens, and velvet seating all mingle with steel and fire in the open kitchen. There are so many intriguing places to be seated, and they hardly look the same depending on which direction you’re facing. It’s a truly beautiful space, highlighted by…soft, low lighting to set the mood. The women’s bathroom is the best anywhere – no better selfie space was ever created for you or your friends. And they have a nice spot for moms in there as well. Our group of 10 former and current teachers met for Friendsgiving, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the ambiance of the restaurant. The ladies raved about their salads. The staff was all top notch, from greeters to bartender to server. After your meal, take a walk over to the Antique Rose Trail and enjoy a stroll. You will enjoy your dining experience at Local and Company from start to finish.

My mom just moved to Foley and we’re trying all the restaurants. Tonight was Local and Company. I had the blackened grouper with shrimp and grits, and we had the caramel apple cheesecake for dessert. The food was incredible. Upscale food in a casual cool place with a really nice vibe. Rachel was an outstanding server. I live in Chicago and this place could fit in there just fine. It will be in the normal rotation here.

Local & Company delivers an elevated dining experience with beautifully crafted dishes and bold, memorable flavors. Their focus on locally sourced selections adds depth and quality to every plate, all set within the stunning historic Armory building. A refined, upscale restaurant that consistently impresses. Our family’s favorite local restaurant. Absolutely delicious!

Made a reservation a few days in advance for Saturday at 11 (although it wasn’t crowded). The restaurant is beautiful and service was friendly and consistent. Everyone enjoyed their food except me… they have a pizza grill and I got the angus truffle pizza and thought it was too cheddar-y tasting and the crust didn’t taste wood fired. However, I stole a couple of bites of my son’s burger and it was delicious … and I am hard to please when it comes to burgers. Can’t wait to order a burger next time!

Wife and I had dinner here on Thursday Jan 29th and it was excellent, exceeding both our expectations. We had the cauliflower with buffalo sauce and the pane bread for appetizers which were awesome. The for dinner we had the filet steak and the Grouper over shrimp and grits. Both were cooked to perfection. The for dessert we had the king cake which was made in house and the chocolate tort cake. Again both excellent

A hidden gem!
The whipped guacamole and homemade chips were tremendous and the burger was cooked to perfection. The beet salad was delicious also! The owner, Efron, stopped by our table to make sure everything was done to our expectations and our server Leslie did a fantastic job! The only complaint we have is that this restaurant is not located in our hometown of Las Vegas. Thank you for chatting with us and making our day.

The food is tasteless. The service was ok. Not what many would called a Restaurant. Has a lot of high reviews . But, all the images taken the place is almost empty Indeed wouldn’t recommend this place. Note: the menu is very limited. Is like a pizza place/burger & taco place.

We are so lucky to have a restaurant like this in Foley! Chef Ira and his team are outstanding. The owners are very involved in the restaurant, and you can tell the care that goes into it as well as the creativity of the seasonal and holiday menus.
Some continuously served favorite dishes of mine are the buffalo cauliflower, shrimp & okra salad, and the Atlantic salmon bowl. For drinks, the Orange Drop is so fresh and yummy! The salmon dish they had over the holidays this year was the best salmon I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been and you live in Foley or are visiting, it’s definitely worth it!

Were greeted warmly when arrived. Ate at the bar where the bartender was super friendly and engaging. Drinks were excellent. Tuna Tartare tacos were different and very good. Steak truffle pizza exceptional. Crispy black grouper was great, plate licking good. The gingerbread bread pudding was a unique flavor profile. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Totally enjoyed and will return.

Great food! The spring chicken and dumplings tasted like Thanksgiving if the food were made by an actual chef instead of your Aunt Margaret. The classic pizza was tasty and everything was very fresh. Our server was super friendly and did a great job! Highly recommend.
Update: everything is still delicious! Tried the roast ham, barbecue chicken pizza, and a couple of tasty desserts.
